I love this inexpensive watch; it’s more accurate than my more expensive watches. Also, I don’t know how, but the original battery that was inside the watch when I bought it, is entering its third year of operation!

This is now my go-to dress watch. I was skeptical because of the low price, but this looks like a high quality watch. The directions are generic for three different style of watch and they're not very well written. However, after some trial and error I figured out how to set the time, day and date. The leather watchband is very nice, but not my style. I found a really nice rose gold magnetic mesh band that makes it a stunner. So far it keeps excellent time. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I was so curious about this watch when I first saw the listing on Amazon. How could a watch costing just over $30 USD with a genuine leather strap be any good? I received the watch reasonably quickly, however one of the sub-dials was not working. I contacted the seller and I have to say the customer service at Gallant Watches was fantastic! They were extremely apologetic and quickly organised a replacement watch at no extra cost to myself and when that arrived everything worked perfectly.As for the watch itself, for the money it is very good value. I purchased the blue dial version and that has a beautiful sunburst effect that catches the light so well. It’s really stunning and looks like a million bucks.Applied hour-markers and the two grooved sub-dials at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock reading the date and day retrospectively are reasonably legible and a nice feature to have. The third sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position is the “moon-phase” element of the watch. It’s not an actual moon-phase, and at this price point, that is to be expected. It is more of a day/night feature, which works well and looks very cool on this watch. The domed mineral Crystal on the dial is very nice, and adds a classy touch and helps make the watch appear much more expensive than it is.At 42mm case diameter it wears surprisingly well on my 7 1/4 inch wrist. But those with smaller wrists may find this watch a touch on the large size. It’s a taste thing, I know.The genuine leather strap is slightly stiff when you first put it on the wrist, but quickly gives with a day or two of wear and is actually very comfortable when it does break in. The case material is not stainless steel, but an coated alloy which does a great job of appearing stainless steel-like, and really keeps the weight of the watch down. The cabochon on the crown, while clearly at this price is not a gemstone, adds yet another classy touch to the watch.Overall, this watch is great value for money. Looks good, and performs well. The only problem you might have is choosing between the different colors. And should you have any issues with your order, Gallant customer service will sort any problem out for you as they did for me.I highly recommend giving this watch a try. For $30 with the discount, it’s a real bargain!

I like this watch. Was shopping for moon phase watches. I saw this Gallant watch with moon phase, Day Date sub dials and the price! Great Value. The watch goes into my rotation.Update: I just wanted to say I've worn this a few days since I purchased. Very striking with the Rose Gold case, buckle and indeces. The white dial face pops quite a bit. Keeps great time. I normally don't like the rose gold, but it doesn't detract from the overall aspect and look of the watch. First time I've done an update to a review, except on an occasion of two where something went wrong. This watch was not only a great value at the price point it is awesome to wear. Thus far can't go wrong with this watch.

This is a nice watch. It is well finished and you can see that the manufacturer took care of the details. It's is light in the wrist and feels comfortable.

I don't have a Moon Phase watch in my collection and didn't really want to spend a lot of money since I am not really into dress watches. The price of the watch is really good so I went and bought it. When I received the watch I am pleasantly surprised. The watch looks nice and unpretentious. It's a classy looking watch. I am very happy that the complications on the watch works that I can set and see the calendar date and day of the week. This watch is the "real deal" both literally and figuratively! I ended up wearing this watch two or three days of the week from of my collection of watches and has become a favorite of mine.

The design is okay. However, the ticking sound of this watch is super loud that you have to keep it away from your bedroom, otherwise you can’t sleep. This watch is way too loud!

I own very expensive watches (Rolex, Omega, etc.) And I own watches that aren’t expensive at all, but are beautiful and fun to wear. This moon phase watch is both. Solid Japanese movement and very practical functioning dials. Nice design notes: Roman numerals, a red arrow tip on the second hand, a ribbed crown. All this for $30! I replaced the leather band with a gray NATO strap and get regular compliments. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is a little large. If it were a bit smaller in diameter it would be even better.
