These are apparently hard to find at home depot or Lowes. I checked 3 local stores and failed. These are something of a specialty item because usually the large posts are for ends and corners and the 1 5/8 posts are for the span. I built my fence entirely from the corner posts for strength. I'm happy to have found.these!

Brittle - I had 2 break.
Brittle. These are made of the cheapest chinesium and break easily. Didn't return because I bought the package needing only 2, but I had 2 break.
