product was easy enough to install. all aluminum so easy to grind plate down for a custom fit. the spring load tension is a little to weak and the bolts holding the arms tend to loosen up. still i recommend this for the price. to ensure maximum efficiency grease the inside of the arm. also you can always add tension. i ran a bundle of rubber bands from the arm to an opposing point with zip ties, problem solved. good luck!

Due to the poor design, buying this thing is essentially throwing money in the garbage unless you can DIY a solution to keep the tension arm from pivoting. The stress from the chain always causes it to shift off center and while I was riding a motorized bike with this, it moved and directed the chain off the gear into the fork and the bolts on the gear tore the chain in half. Wouldn’t have happened if the tensioner arm didn’t move left and right. Honestly the most idiotic design flaw I can imagine for this device. I had to cut a sheet of metal and drill holes in it to wedge between there, cutting a notch in the bottom end to keep the arm from twisting. Huge pain in the neck. Highly recommended you look elsewhere.

this would be a must-have item for any motorcycle,,, keeps the chain exactly perfectly tight all the time,, it's great not having slop and slap in your chain,,

Passable quality but poor fit

Have bought several of these over the years. I believe in them, as they smooth out the driveline on chain drive motorcycles, and the end result is that the chain and sprockets last 3 to 4 times as long.
