Upspring Shrinkx Belly Postpartum Belly Wrap | Post Pregnancy Belly Wrap

I bought this for after my third child was born. With both previous pregnancies I walked out of the hospital still looking 7-8 months pregnant and it took several month for my belly to shrink. This time I started wearing this belly wrap on the third day post partum. I am one week and two days post partum now and I have just a small "pooch" now, I just look a bit fluffy rather than pregnant. It really helped shrink my belly and I think is helping my ab muscles to come back together. I'm out of my maternity clothes where in the past it took me months to get back to my regular clothes.I ordered the S/M and it was perfect. I am 5'4" and weighed in at 170 right before giving birth. It fits perfectly. I have been able to get it as tight as I desire even as my belly shrinks. I'm down 20 lbs and there is still room to make it tighter if I desire. I truly didn't think it would do much good but it really has. Those first few days at home it really helped support my baby less belly and helped ease some aching in my back.I highly recommend this belly wrap!

To start, I should say that I received this product as a gift as a tester. As far as sizing, I am a size 8/10 (usually "medium") and the S/M size worked out fine for me.I wore the belly wrap intermittently with the Shrinkx Hip band, but never both at the same time (too much fabric). I tended to wear the belly wrap for longer periods, as it was more comfortable and allowed me a greater range of motion (ie, sitting, laying down, moving between positions). The elastic side bands for getting just the right tightness were great, and also present in the Shrinkx Hips shrinker band.The reason I’m giving the product 4 stars instead of the full 5 is because of how bulky it was, not able to be worn under clothes. The packaging says that it makes you look instantly slimmer, by which I took to mean that it would act like a spanx-type slimming product, able to be worn under clothes to tame the flabby belly, but that just wasn’t true. However, I definitely seemed to have a temporarily tighter belly instantly after taking it off.My results: At 3 days postpartum my belly was 36.5 inches, and after about 10 weeks I went down to 34.75 inches. My understanding of this product is that the belly-shrinking part is only one aspect, and the most easily measured. Other things the belt is supposed to do is help to get your uterus back to size more quickly, and to encourage good posture while breastfeeding.

I haven't had previous experience with shape wear or waist trainer type products, but ordered this towards the end of my pregnancy. I ended up delivering by emergency c section and was told by my doctor to wear a waist binder until my 6 week follow up. This one was way better than the one given at the hospital. This was soft over my incision (I always wear over a tank top ) and was breathable. I bought 2 others but always opt for this one . It's soft , sturdy and really compresses. Also the Velcro strips ensured a good fit as my waist line was shrinking. Great product, great value. Completely outlasted the one they gave me at the hospital and was way more effective.

When this first came in, I was 9 months pregnant, and thought it looked huge. Turns out, it was only a little long for me. I'm 5'8", was 160 when I gave birth, and am down to 140 at three weeks out. This worked beautifully in the hospital- really helped with the kinda empty feeling I had after giving birth. I wore this pretty constantly for the first two weeks, but it started to stretch out. I can almost wrap this thing around me twice. . and I've definitely not gotten back to my pre-baby weight or measurements. . . which I'm fine with since it's only been three weeks. The problem is that this wrap has stretched out to the point of being useless. Also, if you have a long torso, this might not be tall enough.

I bought this wrap when I was expecting my first baby and began using it the day after he was born. I had a natural delivery but of course felt very flabby. This wrap was a life-saver and honestly made me feel so much better getting dressed or just in general because I didn't feel like my postpartum belly was "jiggly" and hanging out. It kept me feeling firm and in place, which was a MUST for me! It would occationally rub my skin if I didn't have it on right but that was my fault and not the product. I also washed it several times a week. After several months, it fell apsrt but agaon, that was due to the over washing! Being my first pregnancy and never have worn this wrap before, I can't say this was the reason my baby belly slimmed down so quickly but I will say that I would buy again and use it in the same way because I believe that it DID help with my belly! Would highly recommend and already have recommended this product to anyone expecting a baby!

I bought this because my mom swore by girdles post partum getting you back in shape. However, I feel like less and less people use them. :( I intended on wearing it all the time then got a little lazy because you can see it under your clothes if your shirt is form fitting. BUT then I decided to give it another try. If you still want to wear your maternity jeans with the super high elastic belly band, put this band over that and you can get some extra wears out of them! Also, after a baby, my core is zero. Gone! So the constant leaning forward to nurse and shift of the center of balance from holding a baby all day makes my lower back hurt. Wearing this band give me support from the front and back! Plus it reminds me not to slouch so much. My only issue is it gets uncomfortable when I am eating. Otherwise....I love it!
