My favorite work shoes
I needed these for an old restaurant job that required me to be constantly on my feet, serving food, stepping on gross stuff, and mopping. These shoes did not disappoint. I recently ordered another pair because the first ones were sort of wearing out. Cosmetically they were fine, just dirty since I never bothered to clean them. But the foam inserts were getting ruined. I had been using them for only a year and a half up until I bought new ones. The fit is true to size for me. They are neither too tight nor too loose. I have noticed that when standing for prolonged periods of time that my lower-mid back starts aching. I wonder if it’s because of the inserts or not. To address the non-slip capabilities, I must admit I’ve slipped a few times. But compared to my regular sneakers, they do have more grip on slippery surfaces. Regarding if they’re waterproof or not, they aren’t. I’ve accidentally spilt stuff like dishwater and mop water onto them and they’d soak it right up. Last thing I’d like to mention is that I’ve gotten a few compliments on them. And someone even pointed out they look like knock off Yeezy’s, lol. Overall, I am extremely pleased with these shoes and would heavily recommend you try them out. And they’re under $60! What’s not to love?

Great look. Runs big. Noisy.
So yah, these look great compared to the clunky kitchen clogs of yesteryears. Sporty and athletic. I would almost wear them outside of the kitchen. Amazon price is half of what Kohl's is charging.I have owned Skechers Work shoes in three different styles before. Each time in a 12 wide. They always fit perfectly. These are long. Fit like a 13. I don't think I've ever bought a shoe that was too big. But I wish I would've sized down. The insole has a piece of red fabric that will literally peel away after one wear, but that pushed me to put a pair of Dr. Sholls Work inserts in, which turned out to be the saving grace for the fitment. I don't think they necessarily made the shoe fit better, but they definitely kept my foot from sliding front to back, as they are grippier. I can now live with them. Now, on to the noise... It sounds like there's a plastic bag waded up inside your shoe ( I assume it's the waterproofing). They're noisy. Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode when Elaine gave a coworker TikTaks so people would always hear his approach.I buy 2 pair of work shoes every six months. I change them out every other day to let them breath. I am on my feet in the kitchen for 10 hours days. I have yet to find the perfect work shoe after 30 plus years. When I received these I thought they could be it. If they hold up well after 6 months, and Amazon still has them at a good price, I may order them again, but in a smaller size.I will return to tell the tail of how they held up. I have had many a pair, often more expensive, that have spilt or torn after only a few months.

For work environments that require long standing:
This is now my second pair of these shoes for work purposes. My job requires standing all day, so finding a comfortable, breatheable, cost effective non slip shoe was a neccessity, and these check all the boxes. The only quality issue I had during my first ownership was the rubber on the very front point of the shoes started peeling along the edges slightly but was cosmetic only. I work in a very tough environment so I am not suprised the shoes wore out completely in a little over one year. In easier environments they should last much longer. I am not a fan of the memory foam insoles although they seem like a good idea, do not provide much support or comfort after standing for 10 hours. Pairing these with a good supportive insole makes for a super supportive work shoe that does an incredible job of taking the discomfort out of standing for long periods. Beware however that because these do not have shoelaces and the opening is designed to stretch to get your feet in, there is no ankle support whatsoever so taking the wrong step at an angle will cause the shoe to roll underneath your foot and you will roll your ankle a few times wearing these. Despite this, they still stay perfectly tight to your feet all day long as long as you do not twist your ankles and do not ever feel loose, and for me it is worth it to not have to tie shoe laces multiple times a day.

Size 13 fits lengthwise but a little loose around foot
I can’t say to go a half size down because I don’t think that would fix it. They are “slightly” too big in the circumference surrounding my foot but are true to size lengthwise. Laces do not adjust, they’re just faux stretch design so no real ability to tighten up on the problem. I still wear them because they were a huge step up from my China shoes. So far slip resistant and working in food industry working out just fine in these. Lower back pain first 2 days then all was well so maybe a personal adjustment there and not a mark against the shoe. Felt great after 2 days in. I gave them a chance before writing the review and so far they keep getting better so I guess they’re comfortable despite the looseness. I got them on sale for $40 and I find good value at that price to hold me over at my job another year. All things considered, they’re acceptable and I kept them. The FILA ones I had to return were the opposite… way too tight around the foot! I don’t consider myself to have a narrow foot and most size 13 fit me great, with Nike running a tad small but still work. Hope this helps someone with my size or similar situation

Solid Purchase
Ideal for bar or restaurant work. Possibly the most stylish of the "non slip" sneaker or shoe options out here. They comfortably slip right on and off, conform to your foot and they are affordable as heck. I have no negatives, only suggestions:consider buying a half or full size smaller than your usual size. The elastic laces are attached and seem to not be adjustable - unless I'm missing something. However, if you pull and cross to find a knot, you can make two bows and finish tying your shoes in a double knot for a tighter fit. That's the simplest way for me to describe or instruct how to tighten the grip but if you mess around with it you'll be able to figure it out; they're surprisingly stretchable. Not a typical shoelace. I might buy an extra pair to have just in case these get wet and I can't wear them for my shift. Worth it.

Freaking Amazing!
EDIT: After daily wearing them even just as normal running shoes and not just for work for the past 14 months (1 Year 2 Month) I purchased these on may 13th of 2021, it’s currently July 15th 2022! they are still holding up fantastically!! They have been comfortable and perfect every single day! I’ve tried other shoes and just can’t get comfortable the way I do with these! I’ve come to this page again today to finally purchase more and not because they are totally gone but only because the glue on one the left shoe is starting to come off from the sole! But even with that happening I could still get atleast 5 more months out of these bad boys but I want to grab new ones out of personal preference!! To anyone looking for a fantastic non slip shoes these sketchers are definitely a great buy! I’ve attached photos of the shoes and how they look after 14 months of heavy wear!EDIT: After daily wearing them for the past 4 months they have held up great! The cusion in the sole is wearing down but all in all they are holding up well! I’ve put them thru hell and back and still love them! 10 / 10 will buy another pair when these goSuper comfy! Way better than my Walmart bought non-slips, with my old shoes my feet would be so sore afterwork I would have to sit in my car for 10-15 minutes after putting my runners on and before driving 30 min home, these are great! Could use more cushion in the soles but nothing Dr. Sholl’s can’t fix, can’t speak for longevity as have only had them 1 day, will update review if I find and faults and will update biased on longevity

Happy feet.
My husband has to stand for long hours at his weekend job and he was rocking some older under armours which he was complaining were hurting his feet and legs. Anyways fast forward, I purchased these for him. A few weekends have gone by with him wearing these sketcher. He lovesssssss them. He said they’re extremely breathable, very comfy and his feet feel great after work. He wears them regularly and they look nice on !

Torture to stand in
the heel is raised quite a bit and feels like i was walking around on my toes all day, extremely uncomfortable caused me knee pain ankle pain and I've never experienced that with any other shoe before in my life. I went for the crocs and they have been a lot more comfortable. the only benefit to these is they look nice but i couldn't wear them for more than 5 9 hour days

Not really slip resistant
Previously purchased a pair of work shoes from Skechers that was great. As it was wearing out decided to try a new pair from sketchers. Based on the title that this shoe is for food service and with it’s slip resistant functionality listed I thought this would be a pair of reliable slip resistant shoes. However, I slipped and nearly fell while working at a restaurant and the floor was not even wet. However, I gave it a 3 star because I do stand long hours and these shoes are comfortable to stand. Initially I was concerned my feet would get while when I mop the floor but nope they keep my feet dry despite it looks like it’s just fabric but there’s another inner layer. The material also allows my feet to breathe. Other then the anti-slip functionality wasn’t very helpful. Overall happy with the product

Wide feet people get half size smaller.
Ordered size 11 Wide. Generally I’m a size 11, but forgot when I actually get a proper wide pair of shoes I can go down half a size, maybe even a full size. Fits fine, a bit loose, but used some old draw string cords to help tighten the ‘laces’.
