100% recommend these gloves!
I work in a restaurant and spend a good deal of time in walk-in coolers and freezers. I had a pair of gloves/mittens just like this that were finally worn out, full of holes and not keeping me warm at all. I have Raynaud’s syndrome and If my hands get cold it can take hours to warm them back up so I hopped to trusty Amazon to find more. These have the fingerless feature I need for dexterity but also the flaps that will cover everything up. The reviews were great so I bought them. They arrived quickly and my expectations were greatly exceeded. These gloves are MUCH thicker than what I had before and what I was expecting.I’ve had several others borrow them and ask for the link to purchase. I’m 100% satisfied and recommend these to everyone.I purchased mine from seller Quoty

Really warm convertible mittens.
I wanted a really warm pair of gloves. I've seen plenty of "convertible mittens" before, but many of them used a purely synthetic material (no wool) and most of them only used a single layer of knitted material, with no secondary lining whatsoever. Not these gloves. These gloves have a secondary fleece lining throughout the interior of the glove. I couldn't really tell by other reviews if there was a secondary fleece lining in the flip-up portion of the mitten (the part that covers your finger tips) but it sure does! The fingertips tend do get the coldest, so the secondary lining in the fingertip area is KEY. I've included a shot of the secondary lining in the cuff as well as the fingertip area.Overall, I give these gloves 5/5 for accuracy of product description, durability of the build, and combined use of wool and synthetic materials. I am really looking forward to using these more over the course of the cold season.

Okay for inexpensive gloves
A few days after I received these gloves, I got a letter in the mail stating that if I gave them 5 stars they would give me a 30 dollar credit. As much as I could use the money. I dont sell my opinion. It makes me understand why I have gotten some really crappy products from Amazon that had very good reviews. I can no longer count on Amazon customer reviews. These gloves are fine for the price. They did smell like chemicals when I got them.I washed them in a garment bag. I don't think they will hold up long. They are good for keeping warm outside if your not doing any kind of outdoor work. Not good for feeding the horses, doing barn or yard work. They get dirty easy. I don't care for the thumb being covered because when you pick something up the thumb gets dirty. They are warm and fine as long as you don't use your hands for anything.

MEN - Don't Make The Same Stupid Mistake!!!
So I got these in black. The negative reviews are far outnumbered by the positive reviews. These are well made and there is absolutely no odor in contrast to the negative reviews. However they are tight, The 1 size fits most should have been a red flag especially since they are advertised for both men and women. I take an XL in a department store type glove so I should have realized that these would be too small. However I have good news for men who take an XL size in a traditional glove. I also bought the gloves noted below here at Amazon. They fit great as I ordered the LG/XL size. Take note they are advertised for men (not women). They are 2 bucks more but with the thinsulate they are warmer and a better fit for men with larger hands.SK Hat shopMen's Thinsulate 3M Thick Wool Knitted Half Mitten Suede Palm Gloves**************************************************UPDATE 1-13-20I have been wearing these nearly 3 weeks and they have loosened enough to be comfortable. As mentioned, the quality is excellent and even though the thumb is covered , you can still do most things with your hands. These are thick for added warmth with a nice lining but no "thinsulate". The solid stitch construction feels extremely durable.I'll stick with the 5 Stars!

Really nice gloves/mittens (glittens?), but definitely not for big hands
They are well made, and nicely finished (no hanging threats, etc.). I got the black, but they're more very dark grey, which is what I was expecting (It looked like it in their product picture).I've worn mittens for years because my fingers get painfully cold, and they definitely work better than gloves. This is my first pair of "convertible" gloves, and they're great! I don't have to pull a mitten all the way off to use my phone, push buttons, etc.As far a s sizing: I'm a 5'10" guy, and I think my hands pretty average; not especially large or thick. I can get them on over my fingers easily enough, but it takes some minor tugging to get them off. Not a big deal, and I assume they'll stretch out a bit with use.So bottom line: I'll never get another pair of plain old mittens again, and I'll probably get another pair of these, since they are so well made, and a really good deal.
