The heating pad itself is very nice. The cover that comes with it is way to small and bunches up the heating pad. This is a picture after I washed it in cold water and hung it up to dry. It shrunk to the size of a sock. I had to get a pillow case for it.

8/22/2021 Update - I purchased 5 of these heating pads and they all did not have the Auto-Off function which is why I purchased them. Mabis was sold to DMI and now they are Auto-Off so to me these are now an also-ran in the heating pad market. Like everyone else with severe pain, having a heating pad that does not turn off and one that won't burn down my house is what I demand. I'm now on the search again for a high quality heating pad. I'm really disappointed with the DMI brand and probably won't buy it again until they improve the quality and again make it without the Auto-Off feature. I don't know about all of you but I'm really sick and tired of quality products being bought out by cheap companies with CEO's that run their company's as money making machines instead of making quality we all want and love.I purchased a DMI Therapeutic Electric Heating Pad Deluxe Moist Heat Heating Pad model number 619-5133-1900 and apparently this heating pad is also marketed under the name Mabis. At the time I purchased this heating pad I was buying it as a second heating pad. I already had an older Sunbeam Soft Touch Heating Pad before they changed them to auto-shutoff which is the worst thing they could have done to their product. I'd buy another Sunbeam except it seems they changed where they manufacture their products now and because of all the negative reviews about their pads not getting hot enough anymore. I suppose this is because people didn't read the warning messages about not sleeping on top of them and subsequently getting burned and then suing Sunbeam. Obviously those idiots forced Sunbeam to lower their heat settings making all the rest of us suffer for their ignorance. Anyway, I used my Sunbeam on medium most of the time and it finally gave up its ghost so I'm shopping for another pad. The Mabis/DMI Therapeutic model I'm reviewing here isn't as soft as the Sunbeam was and it only has low, medium, and high heat settings. For me, sometimes the low setting is too high when I'm sitting on the couch. This pad does get much hotter than the Sunbeam I had even on the low setting but I feel the company does accurately describe the product. Is it the most perfect pad in the world? Who knows but it doesn't have the timer shutoff and it heats up my back so it is a product that does what I wanted it to do. I've also had it for probably 5 years or so but I haven't used it daily either. Hope this review helps and I gave it 5 stars because it does what it says it will do.

It was delivered quickly, and works great. My daughter uses it and loves it!

Wife gets back pain during period and this has been a life saver. This thing is perfect, no crazy frills, just a heating pad. It works as intended and shuts off after 2 hours, it gets pretty warm so be careful. The removable cover is really soft and easy to clean. We have had it for a while now and no problems so far.

Ordered this because my last one died ☹️ I made the wrong choice buying this one. The heat this thing puts out is not much... At all.... The high settings on this item measures to the med setting on my one that died. The pad itself, no matter where or which way u use this the past slides out like butter... Not all the way though. It scrunches around the button. Lastly YOU CANNOT RETURN THIS ITEM.
