Ideal for acrylic painting, won't shed bristles
This is the exact brush used as the "wide brush" in a set of 3 that participants use at our local Uncork & Create, where beginner artists go & pay for a 2 hour painting lesson & complete a painting in this time. I'm more intermediate than beginner, and I know how to take care of paint brushes, but the brushes at Uncork & Create really take a beating with wear and tear--and these hold up wonderfully! One of the biggest problems I've had with searching for a brush this exact size & style, is that no matter the price point or brand I bought at a local craft store, the brush shed bristles into my paintings. I tried natural and synthetic bristle brushes, with the same results. It was very frustrating. Then one day it occurred to me to see if the Amazon app could identify the UPC code on the brush at Uncork & Create, and it did. It's this brush. You're getting a reliable & durable brush for a very reasonable price. I've only used this with acrylics. I love it. I plan on getting more from this brand in other sizes.

Poor packaging, decent brush
I ordered this brush because of the size for an art class. It came packaged poorly which dented part of the brush bristle edge which was totally avoidable, but it should be fixable with water though annoying. Appears to be a decently made brush though and from what I read others had written it should be fine from my class. I will update if needed.

Decent brush
I have several larger Taklon brushes for applying shellac finishes in my woodworking shop. Thought this 3/4 inch brush would be a good addition. It is a decent brush. Worked fine for getting a seal coat of shellac in narrow spots. (A seal coat is a first coat with thinned shellac.) However, due to the nature of shellac and how additional layers blend into the first, the bristles were too short and stiff for the additional finish coats of shellac.Still a good brush, just not quite what I hoped.

Pretty good
The brush hair separate by two parts when I put water on the paper. Otherwise it’s good! Good value and quality is pretty good.

Awesome Brushes!!
Awesome brush. Great size. I’ve now bought three of them. Each have been used a dozen times over with rinsing been uses. They hold their shape and bristles well. Ultra soft bristles that work well with chalk paint.
