We were skeptical to try an off brand filter for our Blue Air Pure but are very pleased with the fit and use. This is the 3rd? one we have ordered now and we have had zero issues. It came promptly and looks normal, but in use it is giving off a strong bad odor, unlike previous OEM and replacement filters for the Blue Air 211+. These filters have some activated carbon so they are supposed to reduce odors, not cause them! It has only been in use about a week so hopefully the odor wears off and is just a manufacturing fault. It's hard to describe, it smells something like Febreeze or a dead rodent, though not quite that strong.
