Southern ImperialR-9011222 Black Finish Sander Shelf

Currently used to hold my Skil ROS plus a sander sitter under it. A sturdy support that you normally see in stores to hold up the display model for boxed items, this is a very good fit for a workshop pegboard setup. My only real gripe is that the hook for the electric cord fell off the shelf. That is mostly superfluous for most home pegboards if you have other hooks available.PROs- Generally well built and sturdy- Fits a 5" ROS with ease or a hand belt sander- Well paintedCONs- Hook attachment weakly welded- Just a bit on the expensive side considering what it is- Not a replacement for a general shelfSince I didn't want a larger shelf but something dedicated to the tool, this was the perfect solution. If you are looking to put up some of your hand power tools on pegboard, this is a great way to go for tools with the footprint of a 5" ROS. Just be warned you may have to wrap the power cord around the tool or leave it dangling or work out something else as the hook just may not be well attached.

I bought this with the intention of putting my orbital sander on it, but my sander came with it's own storage bag so I use this shelf for my jigsaw instead. This thing works great! I was a little hesitant to buy this brand because they look like store displays, but believe me, they are super sturdy and you won't be disappointed. So glad I bought this one and the other specialized holders I bought from this company.

Holds tools as described, good quality, sturdy would recommend for larger tools if you also need a flat surface besides sander

Dimensions are incorrect. I purchased this to hold a battery charger, decided to keep it as I have other uses, but disappointed it will not be able to be used as I had originally intended. The unit is 5 1/2 inches wide, by 8 inches long. If height matters, its about 6 inches from the bottom of the hook to the top of the peg board.

I was a little leery about a holder for a belt sander being sturdy enough to hold up on pegboard, but I was pleasantly surprised. The unit is very sturdy and has nice, solid construction. My Ryobi belt sander fits nicely onto it.I would definitely recommend this item for anyone wanting to get their sander out of the box on a shelf in onto a pegboard.
