I bought the Primitives by Kathy, Cotton Dish Towel, Kinda Pissed About Not Being A Mermaid.Gave it as a gift; don't know about absorbency. However I saw it hanging in their kitchen when I visited and it appeared to be used on a regular basis, so I'm guessing they love it. I've seen these printed towels at twice the price. Nice gift for $10. A lot of mermaid merch is either ridiculously sexy or designed for children and this is neither.

My daughter loves it for her new apartment.

The package arrived empty so I refused delivery and ups was going to send it back. The envelope looked like it had not been sealed completely. So, shipping time was good. 👍Only writing the review to document that it was empty when it arrived. I may try to order it again simply because it is cute and a good price.

I don't know how absorbent this towel is, because I only use it as a decorative piece. But the quality is fabulous and it is an adorable addition to my bathroom mermaid motif!

Bought this as a gift for my sister (along with a mermaid pillowcase from Amazon). She got a big kick out of it and absolutely uses it. Absorbent "bar towel, flour sack towel" type fabric. Design and color are exactly as shown online. Nice quality for a fun gift!

Love it! I saw the same one in a gift shop in New Orleans but the store was already closed. I was so relieved that I could get on Amazon. I purchased for a friend as a joke bc everyone tells her she has mermaid hair.The quality is nice, it is large and the fabric is soft.

Cute idea for a towel & im so bummed I do not like it. The color looks like a little darker aqua shade but it's actually an olive green. Doesn't match my color scheme at all. Also it's a huge cloth! Thought it would be a hand towel based on the description but it's just not & doesn't hang well with my ring towel holder in the bathroom. I would also be worried about the image fading after washes.So if it's just for decoration then it may be the towel for you, just mind the color and the size.

Cute tea towel. Very thin fabric... but good quality. Very odd larger square size. Thought it a little on the expensive side.
