I’ve been wearing Tony Lama boots for over 30 years. These are great boots and I love them.A few things to note: - Tony Lama doesn’t make as many narrow sized boots as they once did. I miss that. - I used an insert to make the boots feel more narrow. They are very comfortable. - The square toe boot is much easier to walk in than narrow toe boots. - The boot soles were leather but not finished with any coloring. - The overall initial quality of the boot leather and stitching is very good.

Love the boots…. Just wish they last longer.We have to take to get re soled after 6 months.But they are comfy

Husband's boots, fit perfectly as long as you know your boot size, contrary to other posts all stitching was correct. Would be a 5 star if Tony Lama would figure out how to get the insoles to stay put. They came unglued and bunched up on the side. Ended up pulling them and putting in thin replacements.

So, three stars may be one star too low, but one of the boots I received had numerous stitching errors - errors clearly noticeable even from a standing position. I was able to cut away some of the erratic stitching, but I fear it may compromise the stitching in the future - time will tell. The other boot was perfect! Sadly, I do believe I received an item that had previously been returned for the stitching error, because there was a zip-tie holding the tag in place, which I know is not standard because I looked at the same pair in a local store (they were a size too large). So long as you're fortunate enough to receive two properly constructed boots, you will love these; I am still tickled with mine, I just would have expected more quality control on both Amazon and Tony Lama's respective parts.

Initial impressions (day 2): Excellent boot, looks great. I have a pair of Justins in 9D, these feel a little larger out of the box but not bad. You can feel the quality from the first step. Comfortable, quality, and made in the U.S.A.* like cowboy boots should be. (*with imported parts, oh well). Very pleased.
