Makes perfect little donuts in a few minutes! It gets really hot so you have to be careful when filling the rings. I brush mine with a small amount of oil and they pop out perfectly. Clean up is a breeze. Nice to have a donut that isn't fried. Granddaughters loved helping to make & decorate. Donuts are about 3" diameter which helps with portion control. Takes about 5-6 minutes total for each batch. Great if you have a sweet tooth but don't feel like taking the time to make a cake or cookies. Plus you don't need to hear up the kitchen with the oven. This donut maker is such a fun and easy way to make mini donuts at home. It makes 7 at a time and each batch takes about 4–6 minutes total, so you can make a lot fairly quickly. The donuts come out more like cake donuts rather than fried, crispy donuts, which is important to know going in. They’re soft, fluffy, and perfect for decorating. I’ve had great results using boxed cake mix, which makes this even easier. One box makes around 40 mini donuts, so it goes a long way. You can top them however you want — homemade glaze, canned frosting, powdered sugar, sprinkles, etc. A couple things to note: It gets very hot during use, so be careful handling it. Flipping and removing the donuts isn’t the easiest. I found using a toothpick helps maneuver and flip them without damaging the shape. Heat plates are not removable. Donuts will stick if plates do not have nonstick spray. Helpful tip: using a piping bag (or even a zip-top bag with the corner cut) makes filling the wells much cleaner and easier. Overall, this is a great little appliance for quick treats, especially if you want something simple, fun, and customizable. Simple Cake Mix Donut Recipe I Use: 1 box cake mix 1 egg 1/4 cup oil 1 cup water Mix until smooth. Fill wells using a piping bag, cook 1.5 - 2 minutes, flip, then cook another 1–2 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool & decorate!

The design is super cute and compact, making it easy to store in my cabinet. It heat up quickly and the non stick surface makes it simple to remove the donuts without a mess and clean after I use it, I love it. Only downside is no on/off button, you have to unplug it to turn off.

This was our first time using the mini donut maker since I purchased it several months ago. My son had been asking for donuts and I kept forgetting. I love traditional frosted and glazed donuts, not a fan really of cake donuts. I wanted to try a yeast recipe but I haven't yet. I used a box of Duncan Hines Moist Yellow Cake mix and prepared it according to the box instructions. I used chocolate frosting for some and made a glaze with powdered sugar, a little vanilla extract, salt and milk for the others. I dipped about half the glazed donuts in sprinkles. The don't maker gets very hot pretty quickly. I didn't spray the inside with oil though the instructions recommend you do, they still came out rather easily. I used a mini spatula. These require a lie of hands on attention. I piped the donuts in the maker using a piping bag. Let them bake up to 1.5 minutes and then flipped them, I think 1 minute to 1 minute 15 sec was best. Then let them bake another minute. Then gently slip the mini spatula in there top scoop them out. They didn't stick at all. Then I allowed them to cool a few minutes and topped them to suit kids tastes. It was fun and using the cake mix turned out much better than I expected. It wasn't too much like a cupcake and wasn't as dense as a cake donut, they actually seemed like bakery donuts almost. I had no trouble cleaning. After it cooled down I just wiped it off with a damp cloth. I think the design is pretty cute. I have a cart that I stock all my novelty kitchen appliances in. It doesn't take up a lot of space but it isn't something I would use regularly. Just for fun. These would be fun to bring in for coworkers to enjoy, my kids had fun sharing them with their friends.

This product is medium sized, and it is very fun to use. The only bad part is that the recipes make more like a compact cake than a fluffy doughnut. It is easy to clean, and it works very well for how much I bought it for. I have had it for about a month, and I have been trying recipes left and right but none of them work. It is fun, but I would only recommend to buy it if you are prepared to make more of a compact cake rather then a doughnut.

Very angry. Came with a USA electric cable!!! I am in the UK. Just had to order a converter adapter. Usually not that big a deal but having waited a month for my first doughnut maker, only for it to then be cancelled, pretty fed up. It was meant to be a birthday gift that was well past the date.

We love this donut maker. It is easy to use and my 7 year old daughter and I love it. With some assistance, she is a donut maker. Very easy to keep clean and the donuts come out great!
