Not a high-quality molded part, but functional
1. This plug has some rough edges, it's not as nice as factory-installed plugs on my other kayaks. It's similar quality as others I've purchased on Amazon in the past. It works.2. The provided screws are not big enough- they look like they'll break through the countersink in the plastic if you tighten them too much (they are long enough). I replaced with screws with larger heads.3. The feature on the plug that keeps it from falling out is not all that robust- I added a short lanyard to ensure the plug doesn't fall out and float away.

Worked out great
Used as a drain plug on my aluminum Jon Boat. It worked great.

Just OK, not top quality
While it mimics the plugs built and installed in the USA market, it is easy to detect that it is Chinese quality. The threads are really corse, where original USA quality has a finer thread that allows a better grip when tighten. Screws shipped with product are junk, use a different stainless screw.

No gasket!
This item does not come with a hull to drain gasket. You must seal it yourself with your own sealant. Eventually (after years) your sealing job will fail.Personally, I would opt to purchase a boat drain that includes the proper gasket. Itโs a pretty dumb way to save a few centsโ in my opinion

Horrible product
Do not buy unless you want to sink your boat. The screw holes do not have a edge to them . Therefore the screws just slide into the opening and it is impossible to tighten them down. They screws slip in after hand tight turn . Horrible quality .
