This is super easy for my pup to step into. I can tell it's comfortable on her- doesn't ride under her front legs. I've only had it less than 2 months, but so far very durable.

I purchased a blue medium size harness for a 26 pound mixed breed dog.Fits my dog perfectly. Easy to install and adjust the 2 straps. It is lightweight and durable. The leash hooks onto the 2 plastic rings.The harness is escape proof as long tension is maintained on the leash.The harness slipped off my dog when my dog backed up while I was pulling the leash.Every harness I purchased, my dog knows how to get out of.My suggestion is there should be a way to secure the straps in place.Aside from this, this harness is a good value for the money.

These are our favorite harnesses for our dachshunds. Our last of these lasted us 8 years before both broke within about a month of each other! Well worth the price for a good fit and durability!

We have had our puppy 2.5 weeks. I got this at our local petco in medium and loved it. I knew I would need the next size up as she was close and still growing, so I got the large here on Amazon.We have been using the large one for at least a few days now.My puppy (6months medium dog, ~25-30lbs) was very timid to start and very calm. As she has come out of her shell, her energy is through the roof! Particularly outside. She wants to RUN. My 15 ft leash I got her is too short to let her run across my yard happily without an abrupt pull at the end.So many times, she has tested these limits. She kind of knows my “whoa” means she needs to let off but doesn’t always comply. Tonight was the cherry. I was running, to try to easy an abrupt stop, but it backfired. Only had my 6ft leash. I was yanked right forward onto the ground, managed to keep hold, but the plastic where the leash hooks broke on both sides. I am so thankful she did not run off. It was quite the scare.I should have gotten something more sturdy but at the time did not think of it, nor would I have thought I would need it.Metal loops at the leash hookup would be ideal, and make it easier to hook up. Please consider whether your dog might meed something more rugged, especially if they are a flight risk!Otherwise I felt it was comfortable for her, easy to adjust, and loved it.

The media could not be loaded.  I recently purchased this "escape-proof" harness for my new rescue dog. She was rescued from an animal hoarder and was very skittish, and had never been leash-trained. I couldn't use a leash and collar combo because she would panic, and I was afraid with a regular harness she would get out of it on a walk and run away. This harness worked perfectly! It is very easy to put on, and if they pull back, it gently tightens so they can't slip out of it. I am very happy with this purchase. It also seems very comfortable for her to wear.

Finding the right harness for my dog has been difficult due to its unique body type. This harness fit perfectly and easy to use. The steps into the harness and I'm able to snap it easily. Once done, I simply unsnap, and he walks out of it. Very easy to use.

I really like these harnesses, which is too bad b/c they're not durable. I just got 2 new ones just 3 days ago, and one of them is fraying already. The lightest brush against a bush or something, and the nylon frays. Then the padding underneath the nylon gets all chewed up. The last one I had for my male dog broke in the middle of a walk, and he had to be carried back to the car. The harness was just under a year old.So while they're new, they're great. They just wear out very quickly. I've had harnesses for other dogs that cost less last years, so I feel at this price they should last at LEAST one year. That's why I'm only giving this harness 3 stars, but they're at least a 4 star harness when new.The photos are of the last one before I replaced it with the same one. I keep buying them b/c I like how they're easy to put on and they fit well. Just not durable, unfortunately.

I like there is no velcro to get my dogs hair caught in, easy to get on and lightweight seems to be made well with sturdy material I guess time will tell. I would have liked to seen a loop on front to attach her pet tag but I ordered one that goes on the strap instead.

My pug managed to escape from 2 harnesses prior to trying this one, which a friend recommended. We've been using it for 2 weeks now and she's not managed to wriggle out of it yet! She is still a pup and quite wary of new places and situations so spends a fair bit of time dragging back, but this harness has held tight. I'm a Gooby convert and have recommended the brand to a number of others!

Bought an orange harness but received a red one. I know the difference because I have an existing red harness if the same design...bbut alas it's fine I'll just use it

When I put the Escape Free Gooby Harness on my dog, it's sturdy quality is very apparent. The 'small' size fits my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel very well.She pulls strongly when we walk on the lead and unlike other brands, this harness doesn't put any pressure on her neck, at the same time it gives me complete confidence that she's secure and won't slip out of her harness. When you have a silky coated dog who loves to roll over when she meets new friends, it's a comforting to know she's still secure when she returns to the upright position!
