Fishing gloves
I was quite surprised by how well they were made especially the stitching around the finger tips. Easy on and off as well as the sun protection they offer for the hand. Even though they are a little on the pricey side I'd recommend them.

Buy these gloves.
Bought these gloves for a two and a half day camping trip. They worked great! Protected my hands from getting a beat down from being out on the lake all day fishing. They are lightweight and comfortable. Best of all they have grips on the palm and inner hand area that make it great for holding on to that fish - no slippage. Did not interfere w/my ability to rig my line at all. Well worth the price.

Works really good.
Works great it you keep them dry. If your planning on getting them wet in any way don’t. The top fabric drys quickly but the bottom palm part is a different material and holds moisture so your palms stay wet and get wrinkled up till you take them off! Other than they work

Really great all-round fishing gloves with nice innovative designs
One of the main things I like about this gloves is that it has two loops at the knuckles area that I use when pulling out the glove from my hand. I've always had to struggle with other gloves to put on and take off but this was near effortless to take off! Note that pulling only one loop doesn't work—you have to pull both at the same time for it to be effortless. The velcro wrist strap makes it super easy to put on and tighten. I don't have fleshy wrists so the only negative I can say is that the wrist part rubs against my wrist joint bone and bothers me but only slightly. I believe that if it had some sort of cushioning between the wrist strap part and my wrist, it would be super comfortable. But so far it isn't a serious bother. If after much use it happens to be a bother (which I doubt) I can always wrap a piece of cloth around my wrist before putting on the gloves, or my rash guard or arm sleeves will do the trick. The soft material at the back of the glove feels really nice and comfortable. Even in the sun it has this cooling effect on the back of my hand! The palm of the glove is a different, tougher material but maintains the sensitivity so I can feel the fish biting through the rod. The gloves are fingerless, which I prefer so I can use my tools and tie lines, etc without the need to remove the gloves. There are rough parts at specific parts of the palm that provides me with a strong grip on my rod. While my bare hands will grip the rod way better, I want to protect my hands from damage (you know, those skin damage on the palm you get over time from over gripping and force). This pair of Gil Raker Gloves is another great innovative product from KastKing and I think it can be improved further in the future. This is my main fishing gloves from now.Note: I purchased this item on Amazon and I received it on time and in perfect condition but it still says that it has not been delivered. I don't know if the issue is with the shipping company.

A great looking, budget friendly, entry level fishing glove...
First, let me say that I've always been a Fish Monkey Fishing Gloves fan; however, the Kastking Gil Raker "stubby" gloves aren't bad. First the good:1. Great Value2, Decent Fit (don't trust the sizing instructions)3. Good graphics (Prym 1 Camo patterns)Now the not so good:1. Quality Control is lacking as some of the seams aren't sewn well (had to re-stitch around the finger pull loops)Kastking fishing gloves aren't as "heavy duty" as some other brands, specifically Fish Monkey; however, for the budget minded recreational angler, they'll be just fine. One thing that Kastking does better than Fish Monkey is design selection. My Gil Raker gloves came in the Prym 1 Patriot design and it looks great. In fact, the Prym 1 designs are great across the board. Beware of the sizing. I measured my hand as illustrated by the advertisement and the gloves were slightly loose. I expected them to be more form fitting. I don't foresee a problem with this going forward, but I thought they'd be a little tighter. So, how can Kastking improve the gloves?1. Make the stitching more heavy duty and pay attention to Quality Control2. Double stitch the pull tab anchors ( I had to re-stitch after one use as the seam pulled loose)3. On the PVC palm pads, add a silicone emblem or silicone lines to enhance gripOverall, the Kastking Gil Raker gloves met my expectations. They are what they are: a budget friendly, entry level fishing glove, that happens to look good. If you're a "recreational" angler, these gloves will be just fine; however, if you're a "hardcore" angler, I'd say go with a premium brand like Fish Monkey. I love Kastking products and for what they are, Gil Raker gloves are more than adequate.

Comfortable
Good product. Good value. Got them to protect the back of my hands from the sun while kayaking and they work great for this purpose. Also protect thumbs from blisters on longer paddles.

Great and affordable
These gloves were given to me as a birthday gift from my wife and I was very pleased with them. I had been looking to get a pair but never wanted to pay for them. I was delighted to hear the price she got them at. I was worried I wouldn't like wearing them just as many other reviewers have said but I too found that after very minimal use I hardly noticed having them on. The only real complaints I had with wearing them were that it is one more piece of fabric to get hooks caught on by accident and that one of the gloves had a slightly rougher/stiffer edge to it where the velcro meets so that it was somewhat scratchy if not put on correctly.Overall it is a great product and I can imagine they will last a good long while. I didn't get a chance to use them as much as I'd like but I'm excited to get to use them again in next year's warmer season. On several trips, I did get to use them I only got a hook stuck once, and it helped me to keep from being pricked by fins multiple times on each of the trips so it definitely outweighs the single hooking issue.
