I'm a hiker that likes to photograph. I want the high quality images that are provided by interchangeable lens cameras (APS-C). But as a hiker, I want to keep the kit to a minimum so I can enjoy scrambling, walking on ledges - challenging trails. This pack is quality built with hiking features - water bladder pouch, outside pockets on both sides for water bottles or Tripods, lots of internal pockets (Yes a laptop) and pouches for small items, compression straps, lash down points and its lightweight and a comfortable carry. For the Photographer, the 25L size lets me use a nice size internal Camera storage unit that has plenty of space for 2 or 3 lenses + filers + cleaning kit. Even with this storage unit there is enough separate storage volume for jackets, food, emergency gear, Gloves - everything you normally would bring on a strenuous Day hike of 5 to 10 miles. It features a back opening access door which provides security when you need street walking or in crowds - and it doesn't look like a camera case. For my purpose, this pack ticked all the points.

I had planned to return this pack as too small for my gear, then I put in my camera and favorite lenses and tried it on. This pack is staying with me! In the small ICU I can actually load my R5 mounted on RF 100-500, and my RF 75-200 along side! Pretty amazing. And room for more. I'll be buying the medium sloped ICU so another lens or two can come along.

I was really surprised by this when I received it, based on all the reviews. Very cheaply constructed with tiny, fragile zippers. The bottom is a thick rubber material to protect against wear when you put it on the ground, but it is crudely folded over and sewn to the pack creating a prominent bulge in the back located precisely where it rests and rubs against, and digs into, my lower back when I put it on. The only unique thing about this is that the compartment can be accessed from the back. The ICUs are a clever design and really useful. But you can buy one and put it in any backpack. I have a Thule backpack that is of infinitely better material and workmanship that is still like new after 8 years of world travel with my Canon gear. I returned the F stop and will buy one of their very useful ICUs and use it in my Thule for another 8 years.

Perfect for my needs. Discreet, comfortable, modular. Enough room for my Canon R5 with Rf 24-105 and a Lens like Rf 70-200 f4 or Rf 14-35 f4 and Accessories like chargers etc…

Love this backpack. Works great on day outings with even a fairly complete three-lens kit but still leaving enough room for ten essentials
