AdiyZ Stainless Steel Hook Remover Fishing Accessory

I have used similar products for many years to remove trebles from Pike and Muskie.The competitive brands usually loose tension in the jaws after a short time,rendering them useless.I saw this product and had hoped that a more expensive price would produce a longer lasting tool but was very disappointed when the jaws lost their tension after about 25 uses.There is nothing more frustrating than having a tool fail you when you are trying to unhook a fish and get it released as quickly as possible.When the tool is working correctly you can place the jaws over an exposed treble,push back ,and the trebles will pop out.Unfortunately after a couple of weeks when this tool is placed over the trebles it is the jaws of the tool that open,leaving the hooks in place and myself scrambling for a back up pair of needle nose pliers.I usually do not write reviews but take my fishing and fish handling seriously and hope that my experiences will help others.

It seem to be a nice product. I have not try-it. The one thing is, that if you do not want to get cut by it, you do need to get a file and remove the sharp edges from the inside.

Well made . Used it today 05/17/16 and it removed hook without any trouble . Fish was fine . Well worth the money .
