First of all, this seller did a great job. Item was shipped extremely fast and I couldn't ask for more from this seller.Secondly, this cold air intake is not worth the money. This item is priced at the top of the market but quality does not at all reflect in that price. I had to modify the block off plate for the intake tube because it was over ⅛" off and the retention screws absolutely would not fit. The tube itself hits my oil filter despite being fully seated against the leading flange on the turbo. It's installed now and it works, but lower your expectations for this product. Or better yet, go buy an S&B like I wish I'd done.

This intake assembly is quite a marvel when it comes to increased performance. Before I installed it I could only get 18 pounds of boost, now I can get 25. The installation is fairly easy, the most difficult part I had was trying to install the filter on the end of the intake tube. Overall the installation was straightforward and I did not have to make any modifications. I noticed in many previous posts they complained about the intake tube hitting the oil filter, I made sure everything was tight up against the turbo so I did not have this problem.

I'm very pleased with the performance immediate 2psi boost increase and on the way home up hill for 20 miles noticed a .25 mpg increase in fuel savings. I'll be sure to update once I have a solid average over the week. Install was simple with basic hand tools in the parking lot at work and took about 30 minutes, the hardware set is a bit crappy and as others have stated the directions were vague best although anyone with more than 4 brain cells can figure out. All in all very happy and I would certainly recommend... Oh and I forgot to mention this filter sounds great with the whistle ring removed, I promise you'll have a boner the size of the Eiffel tower afterwards... Merica!!!!

Afe intake seem nicely built and looks nice. Put this on a mostly stock 04.5 Cummins the only thing i have done to it is a straight pipe exhaust and an intake horn. The only thing I found that I don't like about it is that it hit the oil filter ( maybe just the type of filter I am using) but I made spacer and fixed it. You can hear the turbo lot more now to. It came with everything I needed to install it. Over all happy with this intake. Also seems to get up and go alot better now then when uesing the stock intake.

This is an awesome cold air intake, looks and sounds good. washable with water and don't have to spray anything on it. can tell a huge difference after installing. only downfall was the Tube rests right against the top of the oil filter, I've kept an eye on it and hasn't caused any problems yet, tried my best to have some clearance between the oil filter, but no result. Other than that very good product. Would definitely recommend.

Happy with my purchase. Noticeably deeper engine tone, quicker turbo spool,quicker throttle response, more power and a lot more Turbo whistle! Instructions could be more explicit but got the job done. 08 6.7 Cummins 6sp manual,5” turbo back exhaust

Works good. Cleans up engine bay. Install wasn’t bad and didn’t take long. Just a little more turbo noise.

Best intake you can get for a 5.9/6.7 Cummins as far air flow is concerned. I've had the others on my truck is this one is HUGE! Came with all parts needed and instructions (which were horrible) but it installed no problem. On my 6.7 there is a CCV valve for blow by so the tube has to go into the intake pipe just prior to the turbo intake, mine WOULD NOT come out of the oem pipe so I had to cut it out with a razor knife then install it into the AFE pipe. Works great and turbo is definitely louder too. I hear the 5.9(non vgt) turbos whistle very loud with this intake.Buy it...it's a very nice intake for the money
