Wound Spray for Dogs, Cats & Birds | Safe & Easy to Apply | Wounds, Scrapes, Dry Itchy Skin, Hot Spots & Skin Infections

This spray worked very well to help my cat's neck heal from constant scratching, due to the awful plastic cone that he had to wear after surgery. He scratched off all of his hair, and then the skin got very red and started to bleed. The spray helped to heal the wounds, but I had to cover his neck with a bandage while he kept scratching. I used it twice a day, kept the neck covered, and eventually as the skin started to calm down, he stopped scratching and I took off the bandage. His skin is looking very healthy now and is hair is slowly growing back. This stuff works wonders and I didn't have to take the cat to the vet and spend a fortune, or give him steroids. Happy kitty.

My fur baby Bella had ACL surgery in Sept. Since then it has been a battle to get her wound completely healed. I have tried everything. I am an ER Registered Nurse and applied many different techniques to try to get the wound to heal. She ultimately was left with a small lick granuloma over the hardware in the knee. Bella is quite smart, she has learned to bend her cone of shame on couch corners, outsmarts the kong comfort donut, and can remove any dressing I applied (Even in the cone!). Koban, ace wraps, gauze wraps... you name it. I tried it. Ultimately, out of all the dog safe wound care sprays EquiSilver spray had her lick granuloma wound healed within a week with her not having access to ger leg. Doggie pajamas and than later a supportive dog knee sleeve with the EquiSilver wound spray did the trick. As nurse who does wound care on almost a daily basis, I was impressed with this product. It healed a lick granuloma I have been battling for 6 months within a week!! I have included pictures. The first at the beginning of the week, and the second at the end of the week. I would recommended it to any dog owner to keep on hand.

This is a good product. My problem is my dog has a terrible itch on her head and is frequently scratching a spot raw. This product helps the wound heal. I started putting a child's sock on her back foot so she would not break the wound open. Ideally we would love to find the cause of the itch, but after many dollars and trips to the vet we have not been able to find the cause. So we do the best we can in treating the area.

My 13 year old beagle-mix had raw spots on her chin and paws due to allergies. After cutting out all canned food, grains, and peanut butter (which I was giving her benedryl with - turns out she was allergic to it too), I used Zymox shampoo and conditioner to help relieve her itching. It worked great, but I needed something to help heal the sores. I bought this antimicrobial spray and within 1 day (2 treatments), the sores on her feet were 90% better, the chin was about 20% better. After day 2, the sores on her feet were all but gone, and the chin was still getting better but not gone yet. After 4-5 days I noticed that hair was starting to grow back on her chin. Now a little over a week later, she is nearly totally healed up. No more itching and licking, and you really cannot tell where the sores were. This stuff is amazing. The spray is nice, because it saturates well and fast; better than a cream. I used it on a rash I had on my leg and it stopped itching immediately.

My cat has a long term sore that is due to allergies and Bowens disease. Nothing has worked on it, so I gave this a try. I used it everyday for a week and saw no improvement at all. I realize a week isn't a very long time, but I would have at least liked to have seen a small improvement. It may work for other issues that aren't so difficult to treat.

I care for a stray cat. One day she was outside with a nasty would. Very red, swollen and fur missing in that spot. It appeared infected. I really didn’t want to trap her and spend the money on a vet bill. So I tried this. The best part is you spray it on. Can’t touch the feral cat as she runs away. This spray is a miracle product. Our girl Kensie is allergic to fleas. We recently rescued 3 feral kittens. Which brought a huge flea problem. She has gets stressed and scratches at the wounds caused by fleas.We had this problem last year took her o the vet he prescribed a spray for her skin. It cost us $45.00! and it looks months for her to heal.This spray however is a very small cost and her skin is almost healed completely in 8 days. Her beautiful fur is also already coming back in.So Thank you so much for this product.Included is before and after 8 days of using spray.Makes me happy and Kensie is relieved <3

This product cleared up a nasty skin rash that was progressing into sores on my dog's belly. Improvement occurred overnight, sore type areas closed up in 1-2 days, healed within 4-5 days. Additional benefit is my dog did not want to lick the product off. This is the second time he has gotten this skin rash on his belly, first time I used an ointment prepared by the vet- which did not seem to be as effective--it took over 2 weeks to clear up, I had to put tshirts on him to stop him from licking the ointment, and he had to go on antibiotics in the end. Rash looked exactly the same this time, but cleared up much faster with the EquiSilver spray.
