I love it. Bigger than I expected.

I was looking for some fun blankets to dress up the living room in my new house. I started looking for kantha style quilts and this fun coverlet popped up. My husband lived in Japan years ago, and has visited several other countries in that region. It reminded me of some of the textiles he has brought home from his travels, and, indeed, of all of the blankets that I've purchased recently to dress up different rooms in our new house, this is his favorite.It is not a heavy blanket; it is the weight of two thick sheets put together. It works to drape over furniture to add color and to put over your body while reading or watching tv and wanting to protect from a bit of chill in the area.

Using these as curtains - they work great! I have a kantha quilt bedspread and wanted matching curtains. Knocked off a stair because they don't seem the most sturdy, with some of the stitching pulling and broken. As curtains it's a non-issue, but as a bedspread I would be worried about it holding up to long term regular use. They're not totally blackout as curtains, but with some blackout curtains behind them they work great. Soft, and a good solid weight to them (for curtains, would be on the lighter side for a bedspread).

Shipping was very quick. Item arrived well packaged. The quilt looks as shown. The color is rick and print nice. The fabric is decent. No odor. If I could give the item 3.5 stars I would. My issues is the vertical stitching that runs up the quilt; not a single row is knotted. Just raw cut. Because of this, the quilt we quickly unravel when washed. While the pricing was good, the value is not as the item was not made to last. If you just need something for looks, this item is great. If you have pets that might lay on it, requiring the occasional laundering, not so much.

I purchased a pair of these for my grandsons and they’re perfect. I’m not sure how well they’ll wash, but I imagine if washes on gentle cycle they’ll be fine.

Beautiful pattern & actually more than 1 layer--light weight but gives warmth. Love it!

Bought for a birthday gift. I liked it very much, it was a perfect summer throw. You can use as a bedspread, cover up on couch, take to beach, many uses for this nice all cotton textile!
