250GB 2.5 SATA Internal Hard Drive

Ok, hard drives die and there seems to be no rhyme nor reason why Brand X outlasts Brand Y in my humble opinion. I used to really believe there was a big difference, but frankly I have been taking out a lot more of the brand that I thought was the best (and paying more for), so now I think I'll try these bargain deals and recommend my customers just do a good job of backing up, which by the way means I can sell another external hard drive too. Hope they at least outlast my warranty period.

Received and described and as always with Amazon orders pretty fast shipping. Drive fit and performs great! I'm very pleased with it and recommend this brand toanyone who needs to ressurect an old laptop in need of a decent and inexpensive drive. I put this into a Gateway T-series T-6836 laptop and have been running it for 8 months without any issues. Install was a cinch :)

I purchased 2 for my shop, neither one worked , all had bad sectors in them and would not load the OS. bought several months ago. As I go through several a week this looked like a deal. So by what I have read in the other reviews these were refurbished, well they didn't say refurbished on the amazon site, it said NEW. I have since pitched them , not even trying this seller ever again..

I could not get it acknowledged by any computer including several winxp,a vista,win7 or8,,Since it was labeled refurbished, I suspect a problem in that area. However I was able to return it without one problem and my money was promptly returned. So all is well.

This hd is great bought it for my mother a while back installed on her computer and had no problems since. great buy.

I bought this to replace a failed hard drive in a laptop. It is very speedy and runs Windows 8 without a problem.

Works as they said it will i will buy other soon do to it capability and is very quit and price is good

Got this as a replacement for another laptop with a dead scorpio blue hard drive.Honestly the amount of Western Digital scorpio blue hard drives ive had to replace is actually quiet astounding,Obviously a cheap and inferior hard drive that manufacturers of many laptops were using.This hard drive however was fine all tests show 100% health as you would expect from a new hard drive and so far i have have no complaints about this hard drive,so on that basis i would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, replacement hard drive.

Useless. This is my Third HD & they have all failed at the first hurdle.Could not even format it. What is wrong ? I reckon Second Hand ?Am Experienced PC / IT Engineer & No one wants to be receiving rubbish. Just wasted my time.

I gave this 5 stars because it did the job and meant I didn't have to buy a new computer! It also arrived incredibly quickly as I only ordered late Saturday afternoon and it arrived Monday afternoon! Great service and a great hard drive!

I'd recommend these drive based on what I have seen so far, great performance and price.The drive arrived very quickly and very safely packaged, I believe these are re badged WD drives but I'm not 100% sure.

Great little drive. This was a replacement drive for the insanely small 20GB drive in my girlfriends laptop. Fitted perfectly and works like a dream!
