Long Over The Knee
I am 6' 1" and purchased size XL. The shorts hang 4" over the knee and don't care for that. That might be cool for downhill but how about cross-country riders? Seems like everyone wants to make a bike short that's long they almost look like Capri Pants and not shorts. The quality is decent, but can someone make shorter lengths? I wore the shorts around the house so far not on the trail and seem very comfortable and well made but please make a shorter length. These hang 4" over the knees and I am 6' 1" tall.

Cool shorts
Awesome shorts but crappy liner. That’s why 4 stars. Reduce the price and remove the liner. I will buy 2 more. Useless piece of the equipment with that quality.

Extremely well made, deep pockets, the liner is attached with 12 snaps and they stay up.
I wear size XL but this XL was too small, I had to reorder XXL. Other than that these shorts are great. Well made and well engineered. Deep pockets. I carry a phone, a wallet and keys and they don't interfere with peddling at all. The liner is attached to the shorts with 12 snaps, awesome. Most importantly these shorts stay up, they don't work their way down like most others.

Endura Bring back the single track 3 shorts
Excellent shorts exquisite technology I wish Endura had a free sewing shop for my older pair of shorts that are coming apart after 8 years of trail riding swimming and basketball

The previous generation was better.
The previous generation is still my favorite bike short, because of all pockets. This one isn't terrible, but it was a disappointment compared to the previous version.

Expensive but the Best
I have had a good number of bike shorts but these continue to be my favorite… this is my second pair of Hummvee IIs. I’ve even had other pairs of Endura but the Hummvee II outdoes all as they’re made out of great materials that stretch in the right places at the right times; they’re well designed. Plus, they don’t look goofy. Expensive? Yes! But I ride in them several times per week and often wear them as regular shorts. They’re a good value. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Consider going a size up. I like these more than the original
I use these shorts for downhill biking.I've owned the original Hummvee with dual snap buttons (which always popped open), the revised original Hummvee shorts with normal pants button (that goes through a slit) and now these. I don't like really tight shorts and as with previous Hummvee shorts I had to go a size up.The Hummvee II shorts are are negligibly lighter (16.4oz for medium vs 17.8oz for the original Hummvee), don't have the funky velcro strips at the pant leg openings, and don't have the glasses clip. The upper side pockets still have zippers and the zipper vents have moved lower and towards the front (not sure how much of a difference this made). The zipper and velcro pockets on the bottom of the short legs have moved a little towards the sides which I like because my keys don't bang against my legs as much when I pedal. On the back of the pants the two giant pockets sufficient to hold a full-size map remain.. I don't find these particularly useful outside stuffing gloves/waterbottle/snacks when riding from one lift location to another but that being said they also don't get in the way-as is.In all I'm happy with these and the choice of something that isn't all black in color.

Seems good just weird sizing
So ordered these to give them a try and sent them back. They seem like a very good pair of shorts not only for cycling but just to wear in general. The thing I have a problem with them is they are fairly baggy which I felt I should have ordered a medium for that reason but the liner shorts were snug for a large. Knowing this now if I were to order again I would probably see if I could order them with out the liner shorts in a medium and try that size. I would believe I would’ve never fit into a medium liner short so the liner would be totally useless to me. I ordered a large per comments from other people that purchased the product. I wear a 34 waist jeans like Levi’s and a large in cycling shorts like ones from capoforma. So large just seemed to make sense but for me it’s just too baggy and I believe a medium would work better as long as I’d never wear a medium liner.

Comfy shorts with removable padded liner
Use these for riding my MTB on mixed surfaces. There are plenty of pockets, a couple of which are a really good size. The liner is removable so you can wear them as just normal shorts. It's held in with four straps of poppers around the waistband which are unobtrusive and dont affect the comfort of the shorts. Padding is pretty good and so far has stayed where its meant to, but if this changes I'll update my review. I would say so far they've met my expectations for moderately expensive pair of shorts and I'm happy with my purchase.

Quality product
I bought these to replace a similar item from another company which fell apart after one bike ride.I was prepared to pay a bit more this time for something of high quality and I’m glad I did. These are the real deal. Top quality, durable and they are comfortable and look good. I would recommend.

Really comfortable to wear
Endura Humvee Short II, these are great shorts, very comfortable, the inners are decent to, zipped side pockets big enough for a phone. You can get these quite cheap if you look around, the grey camo shorts also look cool.

So pleased with the shorts, comfortable plenty of pockets if required, ventilation zips down each leg and a good padded undershorts, would buy again we needed.
