Need to buy insurance! Chair is coming undone

This is the third chair I’ve bought in three years. It’s the best chair I can find, but none of them hold up for a full season of daily use. I’m 400lbs and I’m pretty gentle on it, though I use it almost every day. The first chair split the built in the front “X” brace which allowed extra play in the legs, causing one of the plastic feet to twist and lose the support bar.The second chair ripped at the seam across the back of the seat after just a few months. Not sure why that thread ripped all the way across, possibly bad stitching.I do love the chair, so I keep buying it, but I need to find something else soon. It’s too expensive to last only a few months with different failures each time. It’s not really a 1000lb chair.

So far I love this chair, but then I've only used it for one weekend. It's a BIG chair perfect for a larger person. It has lot's of storage space, so it's perfect if you want to go somewhere that you will drag your chair away from your campsite. So for example, if you are near the ocean and want to go sit at the beach, you can take books, pens, chapstick, lotion, couple beverages, snacks, whatever. This chair has places to hold all this stuff. The chair is really tall too, which could be an issue for those who are vertically challenged. But then, I had a petite friend sit in it for quite some time and they said they were comfortable, but they looked like a kid with their legs dangling LOL. Even myself, I'm 5'8" which is slightly above average for a female and my feet didn't quite touch the ground. Because I'm heavy, the edge of the chair DID put some pressure on my legs, but a blanket resolved the issue. Great chair though, very sturdy. BUT based on reviews, I opted NOT to lift myself up by pushing down on the arms, or to just barley use the arms for some support getting up. I'm guessing that's how most of the chairs in other reviews got damaged. The chair itself may hold a LOT of weight, but not necessarily the arms of the chair.

I bought this for a concert and wanted something that would hold up a long time. It arrived today and I had to check it out. It seems very sturdy. Had a nice wide seat, which is really nice. But I am 5ft tall and have to climb up in this thing! Im going to need a footstool to be able to sit up in it! It actually works nice with the stool. Would love a slightly lower version of this, but it will do the trick. I think. Will update rating if my opinion changes.

Hello, you know when people tell you not to buy the insurance, buy the insurance.So Im Not 1000 pounds but I'm half of this, and this chair is my favorite. I literally keep it in my car, so when I visit people that I know have weak furniture I bring my own. No breaking people's furniture here. I like to enjoy outdoors and just relax and this chair is great.Just gotta do something about the thigh area after a bit it fatigues, but a towel or something will help.Also as my title says, the arms are the weakest link. They ripped of the metal and what's the point of a lounge chair with no arms.. so I used my insurance to get my money back where ill buy another! Lasted a year before those ripped clean off. And its not from me using it to get up,I use the front of the metal to do that. Just weak connection. Some may be able to glue it back. I dont know I just know I can't wait for my new one. I have good weather to enjoy.Buy it, buy the insurance. Big guy out.

Big a large guy and 6’3 it was always hard to find a chair that worked. They would be good for awhile and then always break. They were never high enough and it was difficult to get out of them, especially at the beach.THIS CHAIR is higher then and other chair I have gotten. It’s almost to high Very sturdy and lots of room. You can tell the frame is a lot better then the other chairs I have gotten.Can’t wait to try it out at the beach.

This is the second one I purchased to keep in my truck. I’ve had the first one 6 years I I still use around the house. I weigh 365 lbs and have no hesitation of sitting in the chair. It has a wide footprint so it is sturdy even at the beach.Folds up easily and can be stored in the provided bag. I don’t usually use the bag since it is kind of tight to fit the chair.

This chair doesn't dip when I use it, I'm not worried about using it at all. It does sit a little taller than I'm used to so at first I sat awkward in it but then I got used to it and scoot my big butt up into it. I would totally recommend this chair for other people of size.
