It works
This is my third purchase of this product over the past 6 years...I don't get more than 2 pool seasons use before the mesh starts to break down...but the leaf net has kept leaves, bugs, frogs, and squirrels out of my hot tub...the price has also doubled over the years....but for me this item is a necessity so I just suck up and pay

Great but not for a Stock tank pool~ it didn't work for us.
This was a cool cover but on our stock tank pool it wouldn't lay flat no matter what we tried.

Works for me under very difficult weather conditions
I waited till I had used this for several months before writing a review. I have an 8' in-ground octagon shaped spa. I live in an area where prevailing winds hit the spa directly at an average 10 MPH with frequent gusts over 50 MPH. I have used floating covers which have disintegrated in less than a year and don't keep leaves out of the spa. I have used a hard cover which was heavy and bulky and eventually was more trouble than it was worth to take of and put back on. This cover works on the same principle as any other steel band pop-up item such as car window shades, beach tents, etc. It opens very easily and covers my spa perfectly. Because of the wind, I do need to weight it down around the edges, not to keep the cover in place, but to keep small leaves from blowing under the edges. I use small mesh bags filled with glass marbles at about 2 foot intervals and it does the trick very well. With the floating cover, I needed to empty the skimmer at least once a day. With this one, there is almost nothing in my skimmer even after a week of strong winds. When I remove the cover for a single use of the spa, I leave it unfolded. When I take it off for a longer period, I have had no trouble folding it. It is slightly trickier than the standard 2 fold steel band, but just remember that you are trying to make three rings when you fold / twist it instead of 2. The video on their website was also helpful. This product has performed well for me under very difficult weather conditions and since it is sturdy and well made, I am fairly sure it will last a long time.

works, looks good, needs a few addl accessories, and price went up 25% in a week!
I really like this novel product. I was thinking and thinking about how to cover my spa, which is a slightly oblong shape under trees, to reduce the leaf clutter, without spending hundreds on a heavy ugly custom made contraption. I was about to build a cover of my own out of expensive heavy hinged lexan when I thought "Someone ought to make a pop up cover like the car sunshades." Then I found this! It's light and looks good. It is not very intuitive to fold it into 3 loops (see video demo on you tube). We had to weigh it down with rocks, but when an edge dips into the spa water, it gets heavy and drags a chunk of the cover into the water, dropping the rocks into the spa and risking chipping the finish. So I purchased 4 three lb canvas covered lead weight bags designed for scuba, and 3 of these hold the cover down beautifully. Look better than rocks or ziplocs of water too. To stop it from dipping into the water and getting dragged in, I bought a cheap floating solar cover and cut it to the spa shape. That works. It's possible the weights alone may be good enough to prevent the dipping. With the sixty bucks in additional accessories, I am very happy with our solution and came back to buy a spare net. But the price went up ten bucks in a week! No thanks...I will wait.

Works well but plane on replacing it every 2.5 years
This leaf cover deserves a "5" for functionality but a "2/3" for durability, hence the "4" rating. It is easy to put on and take off the raised spa on our in-ground pool, and it does a great job of keeping out leaves and other debris. However, the mesh fabric develops holes after about 30 months in the Texas sun. In our case, the mesh does not contact the spa water, so it's definitely an issue of UV resistance. We purchased the first cover exactly 5 years ago and had to replace it in August 2018. Now the replacement has holes. Since I have not found a similar product, I may end up purchasing another, but I wish that it was more durable.

Good coverage but extremely flimsy
It is light weight so it would blow away with every breeze but offer good protection. Just got it so don’t know about the durability yet. The material is similar to the one used for kids toy tent with bendable sides. Bends into a large fridge for storage.

Does keep out debris but has a few flaws
Was not sure how this would work but was pleasantly surprised. It did keep 98% of the debris out of the spa only the minute particals got in via the screen holes (which are very tiny) so I was pleased. However I only give it 4 stars because if you have any plans of putting it back in the carrying case it comes with you have to be a magician ... I still have not figured how to get it folded back up.Major Con about this product is there is no way to secure it on hot tub there are not tabs even to put a bungee cord or anything of the sort so I had to push it inside the tub to have the edges of the tub help hold it in place - if you have any type of a wind blowing it will fly. That being said I would still purchase this again and did as I got one to fit my intex round pool and again just pushed it inside the edges of pool to hold it in place.
