Spectrum Noir DISCOVER KIT MANGA/COMI, Manga & Comic

Bought the creative coloring kit
I’m new to spectrum noir markers so I bought this kit to try them out. I’m a little disappointed because I barely got the face colored and my skin tone marker already dried out. I wish it also had better tips and tricks for blending the colors and things.

Love these kits!!!
Unfortunately, I haven't used any of the kits I bought yet. That being said - I'm not new to Crafters Companion and their Spectrum Noir and other pens. Love them, which is why I bought the kits for quick and easy projects that can be on the go with me. I am a serious fan.

It was delivered fast and in good condition.
I bought this as a gift for a middle schooler who loves to draw. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. I would purchase from this company again.

One almost dry marker
I know you can fill them but come on....an almost dry marker just is not cool.

Read the full description. Not a 12 pack!
I guess I should have read the smallprint, but I saw 12 pack and made the reasonable assumption that there would be 12 pens - no! There are only 3 of these pens in the pack, plus the additional 2 fine-liners. Each pen splits into 3 shades of the same colour - maybe they are counting the 3 bits plus fine-liners, but 3x3+2=11. How can this be a 12 pack? Unless of course they count the bits of paper as one piece. The smallprint does actually specify there are only three pens, so my error, but it's still misleading, given that the 24 pack does have 24 pens in it.If they'd blended as well as advertised, I'd have got over my frustration of only having 3 colours, but they're just fancy felt tip pens and didn't blend that well at all. My daughter was recommended to buy these, as the best but she's really disappointed. I thought I was getting a range of colours that blended well, I got 3 colours that don't really blend.

Very convenient for colouring not too detailed mandalas
That's what I would buy it as: something for the mandala colouring stash. Bullet nibs, so you're not risking damaging your better markers' brush nibs on Amazon paper. Keep in mind that the nib will be too thick for superfine mandalas, so even if you hold the marker perpendicular to the paper and proceed in light staccato movements, you'll still get out of the lines. But for medium intricacy mandalas this is extremely convenient, as you have 3 gradable colour options sitting together on one marker. Also if you're colouring mandalas you'd be less concerned that since 3 markers are sitting together in one mage-marker, then each of these markers would carry less ink than if they'd been separate. in short, a convenient timesaving/spacesaving product for enjoyable mandala colouring.

Too expensive.
They dried up in a few uses. Don't waste your money. There are only 3 pens in the box. Although 3 nibs on each one. There were also 3 pictures in the box to use them on.After a few uses, the pens dried up. I have seen cheaper in the shops, although not this brand.

So cheating on what they put in the box.
Once opening the box. I was very disappointed . You have to go to their web page to get what you need . And the ink is very dry

OK
Not even remotely comparable with Copics, including Ciao. But good quality. Manufacturer's website feels like this is a hobbyist grade product line, which may or may not be the case, but that's what the provided information feels like. Overall nice.
