Great mask nose piece
These are great for masks! I have been using a different one and sewing under it, making it hard to keep them exactly in place. These you can in fact easily sew over the top without ruining your needle! The only reason it's not 5 stars is some of them have more of a "raw" edge and the metal sticks out a bit so when you bend them to your nose, I've had a few where the metal pokes out. The problem is, it's already sewn in and hard to take back out with ruining the mask

Sturdy, Good quality nose wires
I use these nose wires for mask making for my family. They are easy to sew in, I just sew right through the plastic between the wires. Have not had any problems with them going through the washing machine, or being ironed, and they hold their shape nicely when wearing the mask. I will buy these again when I need more. I also tried the wires with the sticky side to try to keep it positioned on the fabric. For me they didn't stay the way they were supposed to and I found that these without the sticky worked out a little better for me personally.

A nice light weight double wire nose bridge
I'd been using wired plastic coffee bag closures for nose bridges in cloth masks I was making, but one can only drink so much coffee ! I don't like to use other kinds of wires as they rust and masks must be washed frequently. This product is a bit lighter weight and a bit narrower than the coffee bag closures, but works just fine. It's very easy to sew a little channel at the top of the mask, insert the double wired plastic covered nose bridge and sew shut. The plastic keeps the wires from rusting and poking and it bends easily, holding the desired shape.

Good for making mask

use thick fabric
The ends of these have corners that are sharp enough to be uncomfortable if you're sewing masks with thinner fabric. I used them on heavier weight fabric like broadcloth and they worked better. Yes I would recommend.

Pleasantly surprised
Purchased these to put in masks that I had sewn. Made a little pocket at the top of the mask to insert these. I wasn't sure how well they would do, but I was very surprised how well they did. I doubled up the strips and they stay put. I would definitely purchase these again.

Sturdy
This nose wire feels a bit too thick which is something to keep in mind if looking for something lighter and thinner, but on the plus side it does feel sturdy and it works for what i need it for, so overall i would buy again!

Metal used needs to be thicker.
The metal is too thin and is not strong enough to hold shape
