I bought this adapter as a replacement for my daughter's L355-S7915 Toshiba laptop. The original adapter had come apart at the edge of the stress relief for the laptop plug. This one works perfectly fine to charge the laptop, but, despite being listed as a replacement for this laptop, it isn't what I would have chosen to use if I'd seen it in person before purchasing. This is because, while the actual connector itself fits the laptop, and the adapter does charge the laptop as well as the old, the plastic shield around the connector is not the same diameter as the original. It is actually smaller. This is a problem because that plastic barrel fits into the outer edge of the laptop case's charging port, providing a snug fit that keeps the plug firmly in place. With the smaller size of this replacement's connector, it actually wiggles around in the opening when plugged, and may be placing excess stress on the actual electrical connector inside the laptop. Further, care has to be taken that it doesn't simply fall out of the laptop, as only the electrical connector is holding it in place, unlike with the factory original power supply plug.So, it works as intended to charge this laptop, and is relatively inexpensive. But it doesn't fit very securely into the laptop's charging port, so care must be taken when using it to ensure it stays connected and that the port doesn't become damaged.

Soo..the power cord that came with my laptop stopped working like three days before I had a big paper due for a class, so in my frantic state, I ordered this, and, well...it didn't arrive as soon as I would've liked...but long story short, it works, and I got my paper in on time. This cord seems more durable than the one that came with my laptop, but it's quite a bit shorter and has a three-prong plug. I searched for a while, though, and couldn't really find anything else in my poor college student budget that was compatible with my laptop. Definitely thankful for finding one so cheap.

My cord went out for my Toshiba laptop. This replacement cord is more heavy duty than the original. It is a 3 prong plug, so it is grounded, which is nice. It does not get as hot as my original one. The one drawback may be that it is shorter by a foot than the original cord and so it doesn't reach some plug-ins I use to use. That is more just me than the function of the item though.

Great price on a power supply. The cables are thicker then the original Toshiba equipment. Not much else to say except if you're reading this you obviously need a power supply for your laptop (or you need to get a life). You can go to your local box store and pay thirty or forty bucks or get one here. Highly recommended.

Works great!! So much better then the 30 bucks they wanted for one local. Now is the dog chews this one I may loose my mind.

I ordered this product and have nothing but good things to say. It was quite some time ago now and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. I tried to buy it in a store and they cost between $30 to $60. I paid more in shipping costs than I did for the actual product and honestly couldn't be happier.

I bought this computer cord for a replacement for one of my laptops bc my old one had a broken wire and wouldnt charge my laptop. The price was awesome and the cord even came in a couple days before it was expected to arrive. It was supposed to arrive between 7/9/12 and 7/12/12 and it came in yesterday afternoon which was 7/7/12.

When I initially ordered the adapter I doubted that it would work. I thought that because of the low price it would be some rinky dink adapter and would not be compatible with my computer or it would work for only a few minutes and then burn out.....but it works just fine. Very pleased I ordered it through Amazon.
