No BS3621 Kite Mark - Not insurance approved
This is a very sturdy feeling lock with a good mechanism. HOWEVER, it doesn't have the BS3621 Kite Mark which is essential for insurance purposes if it is to be used as an external lock (in my case anyway... - check your insurance policy). Only found out at the last minute when I removed the protective coating from the faceplate.Photos and description are misleading as some of the photos show the kitemark. Having to return.

be very careful with the size
i bought for a hole three inches deep not three inches high. so it didnt fit. took my old lock to band q to physically match. nice thing if it is what you want.
