I only wish I baught the one with 2 sensors. This is a great product that gives me peace of mind. It operates the circulation and exhaust fans in my printer enclosure. I can set the heating (circulation fans) and cooling (exhause fan) to maintain temprature within 1 degree of target. I can also check the tempratures and adjust them from anywhere I can access the internet from my phone. The app will even alarm and pester me if it hits dempratures that I defined or if the sensor goes offline! "Elitech iCloud" is the name of the app on the android store. The instructions where not clear on which app I needed, so there it is for anyone else that had teouble understanding. Love the product and I will be including these in future builds that need accurate monitoring and control of temps.

Took a little while to learn how to use it and the app because I know nothing about refrigeration devices. But after about an hour of messing with the device and the app I understood it lol. I use it for my aquarium heater because I’ve had 2 in the past that malfunctioned and either stoped working or boiled my poor fish. But with this heater controller I can eat monitor the temperature from anywhere on my phone or have it notify me through sms text or a push notification on my iPhone. I have tested it meant times and it worked great every time. I definitely recommend this device for all my aquarium people freshwater or saltwater. Compared to other brands this one was the best bang for your buck!

Controller works awesome, love the ability to make adjustments from the unit or via App. Running this on a deer hanging cooler to dry age venison. So far works with no flaws. Only had one problem setting up the WiFi but that was my fault. Make sure to only use 2.4G WiFi as the 5G will not work. It is noted in the instruction manual.

I used this for a commercial refrigerator I rebuilt, I bypassed the OEM thermostat and used this one. Overall, works great. I used it for harvesting our farm animals, I kept it at 35 until all of it was done, then dropped the temperature to 10 for everything to freeze. It worked great. The app is a little glitchy but the unit itself works great.

If I could rate zero or negative stars I would QR for app doesn’t work. Numerous Elitech apps on Apple AppStore. Manual doesn’t say which version app to use. Tried Elitech site - chat. Waited 15 minutes. No confirmation of connection and no response. Searched Web. Learned iCold app is appropriate one. Attempted to register device via app. Requires Elitech to send security code. Only have 60 seconds to enter but it doesn’t arrive on time. Made 3 attempts to request security code - it never arrived!

Okay, so for the people that say they can't get the Wi-Fi to work, they're not putting the device into "pairing mode". You press and hold the "set" button and the "⬇️" (down arrow key) until you see the Wi-Fi symbol flashing on the screen of the controller. After correcting that mistake myself or paired and accepted the Wi-Fi network in seconds. SPEND THE EXTRA DOLLAR ON THE WIFI MODEL. Even if you don't care about the features that come with the Wi-Fi model such as remote temperature monitoring, making adjustments to your set points is way easier from the app on your phone then with the three buttons on the controller. And besides, the temperature monitoring is free!! And BTW, I own some Elitech tools for HVAC. I can attest to the lasting quality, accuracy and value of the brand. If you need a device that does what this does, then choosing this one should be a no-brainer.

Unit came quickly and worked exactly as described. Fairly easy to set up and made of durable material. I am using it to control my pipe heater and I have had no problems. Been working fine for a couple of months now.

Save some money and do not get the WiFi version. I own both models. The unit is easy to use, accurate, reliable for controlling temperature. I use it to control a freezer to regulate the temperature at refrigerator temperatures (40ºF). Works great. So for the 2nd unit I decided to try the WiFi version. The WiFi version requires "Location Services" not the iPhone to be ON which means the STC-1000 is directly linked to your home WiFi and your phone, does not use WPS security or any other secure protocol thus allowing hackers to access your network. The instructions are in 'poor english' and difficult to understand. And it states the App is free, but to get the features you need (graphing) you need to pay a monthly fee for iCloud storage. Supposedly you can export data, NOT! The app is still being developed and is not worth it due to cost vs. needed features, and the lack of WiFi security. Buy the basic unit. Oh, the temperature accuracy all depends on the location of the sensor within your environment. When compared to a 2nd source the temperature accuracy is +/- 2-3ºF. Stability is +/-1-2ºF. The controller is GREAT, again the App is not!

Mi producto no venía con calcomanía QR para escanearla y conectarla a Wifi. Solicité ayuda en la App de Elitech y te cobran $549.00 pesos por la ayuda. Más de lo que cuesta el aparato. Nunca había experimentado que una compañía te cobrara por asesorarte para que funcione su producto.

Works as described and operates better than expected. You can even get a graph of the temperature reading through the app. Had a problem with getting the WI-FI signal set but they looked after it promptly.

I decided to build a little “cold house” for my sub tropical plants. I chose Elitech and purchased it from Amazon, it was a nightmare to set it up, then the App was not reading the information properly and corrupting the data on the device, I thought the unit was defective so I ordered another one and it was the same BS, if I trusted the device my plants would have been dead. I returned it and bought INKBIRD and it works like a charm.

Tout fonctionne bien... sauf le Wifi. La documentation est tout simplement déficiente. La compagnie n'offre aucune aide et ne répond pas aux messages. N'achetez pas le modèle Wifi, vous risquez d'être déçu. J'ai essayé de m'enregistrer sur le site de la compagnie. Il faut entrer un « code », mais il n'y a aucune explication sur ce qu'est ce code. En fait il faut cliquer sur « Send » et le site vous envoie une code qu'il faut entrer pour valider son inscription. J'ai cliqué au moins 10 fois, je n'ai reçu que TROIS réponses. Chacune donne un code valide pour 10 min. seulement. Le problème c'est que j'ai reçu les trois messages avec 20 à 30 minutes de retard ! Impossible de m'enregistrer et de toute façon le Wifi ne se connecte pas. Très mauvais achat.
