L.B. Evans Mens, Klondike Slipper

First, unlike some other slippers these are quite true to size, I wear a size 14 shoe(although my last Dearfoam slippers were a 13 and fit fine) I ordered these slippers in a 14m and they fit just fine. The suede leather is quite nice and the footbed is very cushiony. Nice thick bottom(which does add to the weight of the slipper) but should work good for not only the house but trips to the mailbox or garage.BTW for whatever reason when I ordered mine they were $36 which was about the max I wanted to spend for slippers but when going back to write this review I see they are now $44.....doubt I would have ordered them if that was the case, but again nice slippers.4-20-2013 update: the more I use these slippers the more I like them. Very comfortable and sole is usable even outdoors. I would order again without hesitation!1-5-2014 update: Still really liking these slippers, I like how the bottom is rather smooth and don't pickup or hold crud from say the garage or outside, they are wearing very well with no issues.4-1-2015 update: Well a little more than 2 years..... and I'm starting to have an issue. In the foot bed of the right shoe the material under the fleece is starting to break down and is kind of falling inside the honeycomb sole. They still feel comfortable and I only noticed this when I was removing some debris off the fleece. I've never washed the slippers but at this point I'd be a little afraid that the footbed under the fleece might fall disintegrate. It looks as it may be cardboard, OK for wear but probably not too good if it gets real wet in a wash machine.I still like the slippers and they'll probably last a year or so more before they get too bad to wear but sadly it doesn't look like they'll last forever, the tops still look like new though, they're suede leather, too bad the footbed wasn't leather instead of cardboard? as many shoes seem to be now days :(11-17-19 Wow! 6 1/2 years and I'm finally going to order replacements, glad they still make/sell these. The rear inside heal footbed of the right slipper is now pretty worn out, otherwise, looks pretty good. The left heal footbed is worn and I can feel the honeycomb but the fleece isn't worn through also the left shoe leather trim by the ankle also came unsewn from the body a couple years ago extending about an inch either side of the rear of the shoe, makes it easy to pull on when pulling the shoe on. Otherwise, the outer soles look pretty good, no wear throughs on either slipper.All in all I'm quite happy they made it over 6 years(note I mainly wear these in the winter 6 months, not much in the summer) and truthfully I should have probably replaced them a couple of years ago because of the inner heal footbeds wearing out but just looking at the slippers they look quite nice.11-21-19New ones arrived from Peltz shoes quickly and man are the new ones more cushiony in the soles, like stepping on a cloud! I probably should have replaced the old ones sooner, look like same great quality.

I have bought these slippers over many years, usually yearly, and find them to be as close to perfect as a slipper could possibly be. I’ll change my shoes and slippers every year because I am a diabetic, and need to have good foot protection. These slippers offer wide sizes and are a great fit every time! I have plans to buy them every year.

Other than these being very tight for 11 wide, these are amazing. I had another pair of these before that lasted me nearly 20 years of heavy use. Very sturdy outsole, warm, and comfortable (other than being so tight). If you want to keep your feet warm, definitely buy these.

I bought these slippers for my husband, as his other slippers were breaking down (even though they lasted for about 4-5 years). My husband was hesitant on the price, but I looked at so many slippers before showing him these, and I could tell by reading about them (and also checking the reviews that were "review-worthy") that they were very high quality slippers that would last for I would guess at least 5 years. The pictures were very nice, but to see these in person, both my husband and I were very impressed with these. They look classy, and remind me of the kind of slippers that a "Gentleman" would wear with an expensive robe. I knew my husband would never spend a lot of money on slippers, but for this kind of quality, I have to say that these really aren't that bad price-wise for the kind of quality and comfort they provide. I am so happy that my husband's feet are happy and it's also nice to see him in some nice-looking slippers. His old ones were never that great looking, but did the job and lasted a good amount of time. My husband wears a 10.5 size, and says that he normally has a difficult time finding shoes/slippers that feel good to him. Since they don't sell half sizes, I bought the size 11, since that was the size of his old slippers (which I bought for the same reason--> no half sizes!). However, when he tried these on, he said they felt wonderful! He is very satisfied and we both couldn't be happier! (I'm always happy if HE is happy!) -- Highly recommend these slippers and hope they will keep making them for years to come and keep the quality up.

If you’re looking for great slippers, these are the ones! I purchased these for my husband who has very wide feet, he has a hard time finding the right width in shoes and slippers. He also has extreme sensitivity due to neuropathy, but nonetheless these slippers work out great. Every year and a half, I purchase him new ones in a different color. He truly loves them; the comfort, the support and warmth they supply are well worth any money spent on them.

These are really great slippers. They started out a little tight but quickly loosened up and fit my feet perfectly. I have worn them every day for nearly two years and they are still in good condition but I am considering getting a new pair.

The slippers arrived on time and fit every expectation I could hope for.They are comfortable and warm but a tad tight but am sure they will break in and be loose with time.Very well constructed with nice non slip sole and durable leather upper with convenient pull-on tab.I would certainly buy again as the price was quite reasonable

Very soft and comfy, with enough snugness to stay on when at a brisk trot. Well made and durable. SO far so good.

Pleased with the purchase, but I had to return the first pair and get a second due to the size being smaller than expected. Amazon's service was amazing however and they were very accommodating.

Great fit, very warm and comfortable. I have hardwood floors throughout my home which can be hard on my feet. These slippers eliminate that issue and I would definitely recommend them.
