It's soft, as others have said, so ideal for masks. For more permanent sewing/crafts projects, I would spend a bit more, as it doesn't feel like the stretch will last.. I bought this to replace/add under-ties for sofa covers, those stretch covers (which are really good, btw, if you have pets!). I chose the 20 m length mainly because it looked like it comes on a reel. It doesn't.I need lengths as long or wide as my sofa, and didn't fancy ending up with a big knot once I started using it, so wound it on a card, which took the best part of an hour. It comes in a loop, like a garden hose and same as with hoses, if you then wrap it around something, I've found no way to stop it twisting and getting knotted and tangled up. I thought initially that maybe they sent the wrong product, the 10 m length, and even - carefully - measuring it, it got tangled.I concluded that they sent the correct product, but it's only 18 m and 37 cm long. I measured with a soft tape measure in 1 m lengths and am pretty sure that's reasonably accurate. It's not a huge deal, but along with confusing/misleading description, annoying enough to not give 5 stars.As there are 3 products and only 1 is shown on a reel, it's especially misleading. If I'd known, would've chosen a different product. Mine was clean, though, no marks or faults that I could notice. So for low cost option, if you don't mind extra inconvenience and don't need it to last that long, it's a good option.

I purchased this elastic to make face masks and it was brilliant. Soft and easy to work with and comfortable to wear. It comes in a tied bundle so you have to be careful unwinding it as you can get in a muddle but great value for money.

Picture shows the elastic on a reel, but it came loose and took a bit of untangling.It's quite soft - great if you're using it for face masks, but not as sturdy as I'd have liked for a waistband.Can't really complain at the price, though, and it's certainly good enough for mocking up a toile of the garment.

This elastic is soft and easy to use comfy over the ears as I mainly use the elastic for face masks

It arrived very dirty. I had to wash the whole spool before I could even touch it. It's very thin, a little flimsy, but very cheap
