Not really quality
Bought on June 6th, 2016, installed it yesterday, July 18th, 2016. I'm installing on a 2002 TREK 1000 road bike. I waited to install to get the needed shims to make it fit as the sizing for bikes has changed over the years.My review is the same as the others. It doesn't grip very well. The 'locking screw' literally broke off from me trying to tighten it up. I'm not THAT strong!So the locking screw is now broken off but the joint isn't really locked in place. I tried to tighten up with the axle bolt but I'm not sure I'm even supposed to do that. I'm going to try just a straight stem riser and see if that helps give me the height I need.

So far so good. I added threadlocker (blue) to the threads to ensure vibration would not loosen the bolts over time. I ride my bicycle on paved road primarily and preforms as intended for me, less strain on my neck with a more upright position in comparison to what I was using prior. As others have noted, no need to crank down on the bolt(s) to tighten, just snug will suffice as the teeth are what keep the adjustment from moving rather than the bolt itself.

Lasted about 16 miles.
I bought this so I could find the right angle I need for my road bike. At this price I didn't intend on it lasting long, but I expected it to last longer than 16 miles, which is when it broke. Stripped the screw because I was tightening it so often just to keep it semi in place, and the Ridge system which is the part that allows adjustability is too shallow, and that eventually wore out after 16 miles. I wasn't expecting to ride a 300k gran fondo, but still. If you intend to use this for more than very casual rec riding I don't recommend.
