Update:I’ve finished the body of this stocking with plenty of floss left to spare. I opted to stop the stitching under the name line because plan on putting a border under the name so it coordinates with my other stockings. Once baby is born and we’ve got a name decided on, I will add it to the top and assemble. It took me about 2 1/2 months to finish (I worked on it for a couple hours most nights after my toddler was in bed).This is my second Dimensions stocking kit I have done, and so far it is just as good as the first. I anticipate that I will have plenty of floss, as I did with the first one. The pattern is very easy to read because it’s color coded and on good quality paper. While it’s a large pattern, I do think it wouldn’t be too difficult for someone who is somewhat new to cross stitching because it contains everything you need and is well presented, especially if you grid your Aida (which I’m doing for the first time - such an improvement for the process!). I will update my review once I have finished, but it’s looking great so far!

This is my 13th cross stitch stocking I've made and by far one of my favorite patterns! The detail is wonderful and the colors are bright and vivid. I am about a quarter of the way through and the pattern has been easy to read, clear, and fun to complete! I particularly love that they combined the gold floss with a normal thread to make it easier to use! Can't wait to finish this stocking!

This kit is exactly as every other Dimensions Gold stocking kit. They are well organized and always create beautiful final results. Unfortunately this is not an 18 count cloth, as advertised. The 14-count is nice, but will not be as detailed. Would have rated 5 stars if it was as described.

States it is an 18 count, but is only a 14 count.

Had to return the first shipment as there were two top of the stocking patterns but none for the lower half. That said, returns are easy with Amazon and the new package arrived in 2 days as promised. The pattern is clear as are the instructions and \i look forward to making this for my new great grandson.

Made this for my grandchild's first Christmas. Many hours of work but is a stocking that is not "baby" so he will not outgrow it. It will be something he can have forever (as my mother made for my kids).Really is quite beautiful.
