Sock Monkey Rides Again (Cece Bell's Sock Monkey)

We now have all three books.Cece Bell is going down hill. The first book was WONDERFUL!We kinda liked the second.. but this book is hard for a youngchild to follow.. and the theme of KISSING is not really ageappropriate for what you'd expect of a sock monkey. It's notworth buying folks. Get it from the library, free. Buy thefirst book, maybe the second, but don't waste your money onthis. What was she thinking when she wrote this?? I think she was justbanking on the success of the first one. (no pun intended)Pictures aren't even as well done. oh well.. spend and learn.

Our grandson loves sock monkeys and these books are the ones he wants us to read to him over and over again.

Love it. I bought it for 3 year old grand for Christmas.

Good for kids

We have checked out the first two Sock Monkey books from the library, and my son LOVES them. This book is a major disappointment - nowhere near as good as the first two. Unfortunately we had to pay for this one to find this out as the library didn't have it. Wish we owned one of the other two (which I highly recommend), not this one! I also agree with the reviewer about the kissing theme... completely turned off my 5 year old boy and just seems completely out of line for a cowboy themed book.

My daughter loves sock monkey! We have 2 other sock monkey books from cece bell..all 3 are some of my daughters favorite story time books!
