These cherries are delicious. Wonderfully tart, not over dried, and with no sugar added a real jewel of a find.A note on the customer service, which is something that can make or break a repeat sell with me. While my package arrived swiftly, it had come open during delivery. The bag of cherries was open inside with some coming out, and there were puncture holes in the bag itself. I contacted the seller asking if I could return them for a replacement. She immediately sent me a gracious and apologetic letter and told me she'd send a replacement, which I got just as swiftly. Great customer service can be a rarity in today's market, so I really like to call attention to the exceptional effort when sellers do go out of their way to correct a problem. It's appreciated and definitely gets my attention.You may be wondering why four stars instead of five. The fruit and customer service are without a doubt a five star product. I docked a star for the packaging, which is a large Ziploc type bag. Unfortunately, it's thin enough that it's easily punctured and since it came open uhh n transport the first time, she taped it closed the second which means I have to store it in something else. I do that anyway, so it's not a big deal. However, for those we ho are seeking vacuum resealable packages, this could be a problem. I encourage you not to let it stop you from trying these delicious cherries though. I positively love them, and will definitely be making future purchases.

I try to limit my sugar intake and these tart dried cherries help with that. I mainly use them in oatmeal instead of raisins, which have plenty of natural sugar in them. I also like the taste of cherries better than raisins. I have been buying these for several years now, and the quality is always excellent.

I put them into snack bags I make with nuts, dried fruit, and a few chocolate chips. The cherries are very good -- just a little drier than I expected but I don't know that they could be dried differently. I will order again because they do not include sugar -- just the sweetness in a tart cherry.

I’ve ordered from Brownwood Acres in the past. The dried tart cherries were fantastic; very nice and chewy. This last order arrived hard with no “chew” whatsoever. Contacted them via Amazon and Jodi replied immediately that they were replacing the order and there was no need to return the previous order. She recommended feeding them to the birds this winter. I will testify that these stopped my last gout attack. My pain and inflammation management revolves around going WFPB and MMJ. I have been gout free for months by keeping to this regimen and it has been phenomenal for how I feel overall. Then I ate something I knew I shouldn't eat! I thought this one thing couldn't cause an attack could it? What a fool. Of course it did! Queue these cherries. These cherries in combination with tart cherry juice and some other things I do stopped my gout attack within 2 days. I am completely pain free. I ordered these 02/20/19 and they expire 01/08/20 which plenty of time to eat. These are the only tart cherries that I can find that are unsweetened and oil free.Minus two stars because I am worried about pesticide content and possible toxic IPM spraying.

The best tart, unsweetened dried cherries I've had. I'll will order again and again. I put them in my oatmeal. I add them to my salad. And, I'll grab a handful for a quick snack.

These are very nice tasting sour/sweet unsweetened cherries, as advertised, that can be used in a variety of ways. I know they need the oil to stay separated but it seems like it could be a bit less. We have used about 1/4 of them and have only gotten one piece of a pit but you should be careful eating them. I would probably order them again.

I really wanted to like these as the had no oils and extra sugar, but they were just too hard for snacking which is what I wanted them for. Even in cooking, it would take soaking overnight (as in overnight oats) to get them chewy at all. The are more like dried currents in consistency and appeal. The seller was fine and clearly wants to be a good plater in this area.
