This rain chain is very attractive, well built, and fun to watch when it rains. My gutter installer had already installed a hook for it in the gutter and it was just a matter of assembly and hooking it up. For me, I had no place to install a drain pipe on this gutter, so this was a fantastic option.

So far I have only ran my hose through the gutter but with the hose on full and no adapter on the gutter there is very minimal splatter and it seems to handle the load just fine. For the price I would expect it to be powder coated or some type of durable paint, but instead the hooks came with lots of flaking black paint that is sure to continue, and the funnels themself had some stuff marks too. I guess I can spray paint it later if I have to

The media could not be loaded.  We installed the rain chain on the front gutter of our patio roof. It’s just the decorative touch we were looking for instead of a downspout. We have a small iron pot filled with stones to capture the rain water. It overflows with heavy rain, but our patio base is river rock so no worries. It does require a metal hole saw to cut the gutter. I would not recommend replacing a house roof gutter downspout. Perfect for a “she shed” or patio.

Nice item very lightweight though. Anchored it to a doorstop statue so it won’t swing in the wind. It did not come with any instructions or any kind of paperwork but it was very easy to assemble.Now that I’ve seen them in the rain I’m really pleased because they hold up to a pretty heavy rain.

This rainchain is in place of a gutter downspout on the front porch. Serves it's purpose just fine. Looks great with our black and white country theme.

Connectors seem flimsy but because once it is put up it never really needs to come down, I overlooked this lower quality metal.

These were shipped from US to UK as we have nothing as robust for this price that I could find. Fitted to our new extension these rain chains look really nice and have attracted a lot of comments. They work too - we actually have two in place.
