I use these on diamonds, and a sapphire. They are effective and good to have.

Great cloth for polishing my wife's diamond ring. After we clean it in solution, we use this to "buff" the stones. Works perfectly and make the ring shine like new!

I love having an untreated cloth for everyday polishing of my Gems and Swarovski Crystal Jewelry. These treated cloths are not good for the rather fragile plating of the Swarovski Cup Chains and can take it off.

A diamond cloth should clean a diamond of all debris and lint. This cloth cleans well, but leaves behind lint that is easily visible under a microscope when grading stones. I end up having to use a small lint-free brush to remove lint while observing under magnification.
