Didn't get what they described...
Bottom line... if I had wanted to piecemeal something together, I would not have ordered "plug n play". I also expect to get what was advertised. The box had been opened, there was no software included, they admit to removing the CD and there was no printed manual. - I opted to return it because I need a backup program. There are a lot cheaper options if all I want is drag n drop functionality.Bipar's Response: This is new as per description. We do open the box to format as ExFAT so it can work on MAC and Windows.That's the reason you see signs of box opened once.Also, this drive is plug n play so you don't need any CD or installation. That is the reason we have removed CD from the case now.In regards to software, there is an ongoing bug issue that we are working on to resolve it. The software will work fine on Windows but form MAC we suggest you use Time machine instead of our backup software.If the software is missing then we can certainly send you via email or link to download.If you are you still not happy with product then you can certainly return it back to us for full refund.

The perfect storage!!
This is so perfect for everything you need to store. It keeps my pc clear of things I need to store and get to later on. It's great as a backup and saves your hard drive from being overloaded.I love the case and am able to take it anywhere in my pocket or in my pc case.Transferring is so simple and the easy access makes this a must have.Simply plug it into your usb and away ya go.The software contains the user manual which was nifty for my wife.I will get another 1 of these later this year a tb more than likely. We simply love this!

It might be a great product if I could get it to work
It might be a great product if I could get it to work. The backup software that was included on the drive itself apparently had an "expired" license and wouldn't launch. Their product support sent me a link to download a new version of the software, which installed but gave an error message when I tried to register it. They told me to try again because their server was down at the time. I tried again and am still waiting for the confirmation email with the key to unlock the software. I suppose it can be used without the software but I haven't tried that yet, too annoyed with it.

Nice for the Price
Decent size for a decent price. I do like the fact that you can make it run faster depending on which usb cord you use. (It came with two.)

You will need another back up drive to back this one up.dont trust this not to fail some day.
