2020 F150 5.0 Gives the coyote a nice sound and more noticeable power. Recommend

Not overly impressed and probably would have been more content with just purchasing a K&N filter for the stock intake. Not much to this intake and the parts that are included seem to be of minimal quality. You would think that for the $379 price tag they would provide a preformed seal for the top of the box instead of cutting and forming your own. Also, the chrome intake tube feels about as sturdy as a beer can. although the installation is quick and easy, the picture in the instructions are not very helpful. I'd personally shop around some of the other aftermarket suppliers <cough> <cough> rough country <cough> <cough> for the plastic CAI before i bought another one of these

Definitely looks better under the hood than the stock system, but the stock system has those unattractive baffles to keep the noise down. The first time I got on the gas hard I thought there was a problem or I had forgotten to tighten up a clamp. Nope it was just that glorious Coyote V8 sucking huge amounts of air with less resistance. I feel I gained low end power. The noise can be a bit annoying even with the stock exhaust so be aware of that, If you plan on upgrading your exhaust like I do then it shouldn't be an issue. A plus is a gain in mpg. Just my 8 miles each way commute to work I have seen a gain of 1-2 mpg, When your driving a truck every mpg helps!

SO this is my 3rd KN cold air I've owned. By far it was the easiest one to install. I had the stopwatch going and was complete in 12 minutes 23 secs. BUT.... I forgot the little strip you glue on the bottom of the filter box. So in less than 30 mins I was up and running. There is a slight whistle now, but when you add a filter the size of your head and a giant chrome tube. Air is going to flow.... So I'm going to use silicon on the bottom of the box to really seal it off. Otherwise its a great product. Next I'll throw on exhaust and a tune.

I will say the intake makes my truck sound pretty mean now. It took about 30 mins if that to install which I’ve installed a few before. Only problem I have with mine is it has alittle whistle to it but that’s it. I gained maybe 2 mpg but I got a lifted truck so I wasn’t expecting much lol. And great customer service cause I messed up my weather stripping and K&N sent me a new one for free!

Installed one in my '19 F150 XLT 5.0 and another in my '07 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. Easy assembly and quick install. hp Increased a bit. Did improve the fuel economy. Sounds better. Great mod.

Was expecting a bit different but awsome just.tje same ..easy.to install..can't. Tell you did anything ...but take it for a test.drive and you won't be disappointed if your looking for some noise used on a 2016 f150 5.0L

I really appreciate the power gain. Love the sound it gives the vehicle . But the sound has made my foot a little heavy on the pedal.
