Pomegranate Edward Gorey (Pomegranate Artpiece Puzzle)

Do the edge pieces last
The edge pieces seemed to fit into multiple pieces. I picked a section in the center and worked out from there doing the edges last. Not the way I usually do a puzzle and taking much longer than usual to complete, but I enjoy the Edward Gorey pictures. This was my third. The others were easier.

Nice image; washed out
The puzzle is challenging with all the grey pieces along the edge (that fit countless possible ways, I found) but made more challenging by the washed-out, muted colors of the print. It's not the vibrant scene portrayed on the box, but rather muted tones throughout. The scene itself is whimsical and surreal and true Gorey weirdness. I probably won't be coming back to this one, though.

Great puzzle
I like Edward Gorey images, so it was fun to do. There is not much contrast in the pastel color palette, so that became the greatest challenge. Recommend.

Not as great as expected
I love Edward Gorey and I usually love pomegranate puzzles, but for some reason the pieces on this one just didn't fit together well at all. There are definitely better options for $20+
