I have purchased other silk pillow cases that have been very good. This brand is even better! The case is sized perfectly so it fits snugly over a pillow, which avoids wrinkles in the fabric. A smooth fit is what you want for a silk pillow case, since the whole purpose is to keep your hair and skin smooth! The zipper is well hidden and doesn't interfere with comfort. It is easy to zip and unzip. The silk is more substantial than the previous brand I bought. I washed the case immediately upon receipt and have washed it several times since. I machine wash and dry it just like my cotton cases (despite directions to treat it more gently), and it comes out perfect every time. I purchased the color called Ocean. It is just slightly darker than the color swatch and some of the photos, but it is a beautiful dark (but NOT as dark as navy) blue.I will be buying my silk pillow cases from this company from now on!

This pillowcase is a little sturdier than others I have purchased. I believe it will hold up better. Very comfortable

These are much softer than the 19 momme, noticeably heavier and wrinkle much less than. They are beautifully made. This company has great products. This is my 7th or 8th set of silk pillowcases from them. (I like color change and change them every other day). The pillowcases are always perfect and wash beautifully if you hang them to dry. We travel with them everywhere we stay.

I bought it for my hair that was thinning on the side that I sleep. It appears to be a good quality product and was as advertised. It was rather expensive and requires much special care. I just hope it proves to be worth the price and care after extended use.

What I like best about this pillowcase was how soft, cool, and gorgeous it is. I also love the hidden zipper closure. I bought the king-sized one in white and it is elegant. It was easy to wash and came out nice as I followed the instructions. It needs a little ironing, but I don't mind as I like all of my pillowcases ironed. I paid $39.99 for it but it is made of the highest grade A6. I bought a comparable one for $27.99 but it was a grade A5. Both are 25 momme and mulberry silk. What I liked least about this more expensive product was the packaging, but it wasn't that important to me. I wasn't sure if grade A6 versus A5, plus the hidden zipper closure, warranted paying an extra $12. I didn't notice any difference in the texture of both pillowcases, but I think the zipper closure may be worth the extra money. The seller delivered promptly and I love the product, so, thank you!

I already have three other silk pillowcases, all of differing brands -- and this one from Beauty of Orient is right up there when put against my $100 pillowcases. It especially feels a lot like my 30 momme from Mulberry Park Silk both in near-heft and in smoothness and drape. So count me as a believer in this brand in general.Now for the test of time, I will see if it holds up (I will update this review if any issues arise), but all indications show me it probably will. Also, the packaging box is really nice, making a great impression for anybody receiving this as a gift.

I actually bought these a few years ago and can say they are still amazing. I love sleeping on my silk pillow cases, it feels so decadent. I obviously have washed them many times and I am happy to say, they look and feel as great as the day I bought them.I am now looking for the same item but in a travel pillow size, so I cannot buy this exact pillow case. (It doesn’t come in this small size). I recently traveled and used my queen sized one, but my travel pillow had a regular cotton case. Wow, what a difference. That’s when I decided to search for this small size. I won’t leave home without my silk pillow case! Now after purchasing my new ones, I can travel oh so comfortably with the travel sized pillow as well.The original queen cases I have in navy blue, red wine and silver colours. They all look just like new. Keeping their beautiful colours vibrant.I cannot recommend these enough!!

I really didn't know if I'd like silk pillowcases but I really like these. They are very soft and cool feeling, and have a really nice hidden zipper closure. Will not go back to other pillowcases. I washed them on delicate in a mesh bag, rolled them in a towel to get out excess moisture, and hung them to dry. Did not need ironing.
