I've always loved using cast iron enameled cookware because high quality enameling never fails, so this splendid Villeroy & Boch (vivo Group) fondue set is something to love and to trust, because it will be cherished in years to come.The cast iron pot, its removable lid and stand are in a pleasing dove grey that feels slightly rough when holding, but this no bad thing because the finish is very quality with no blemishes. Inside the pot the enameling is a pleasant cream colour. It will be easy to clean.The stainless steel burner holder is the perfect shape to hold the Till Brennpaste Fondue Gel/Paste fuel pots that I bought soon after. I've used them before and they are smokeless, their flame easily adjustable by the stainless steel holder and its stainless steel snuffing lid. The burner holder fits perfectly. Altogether it looks just fabulous.This Villeroy & Boch fondue set is incredibly good value, an absolute bargain, and one will save £75 from buying elsewhere. It is as good as other fondue sets costing many times more.My husband and I are very pleased and cannot recommend this cast iron fondue set enough.

This is an absolutely fantastic fondue set, very heavy cast iron but not in a bad way, very sturdy when setup and by far the best design I’ve come across. A definite bargain for the £40 I paid, I’d say still a bargain at twice this price.The included 6 colour coded forks were of equal quality and the pan cleaned very easily after use.The burner sat very securely cradled in the solid stand, no chances of accidents with the gel burner. The burner even included a temperature control by twisting the handle and opening/closing the burner holes. All punctuated nicely with an extinguishing handled metal cap.

Being from Luxembourg, everything I know and rely on was Villeroy and Bosch.So logically speaking, after moving to the UK, my first instinct was to go V&B for a Fondue set. And behold, I am not disappointedGreat design, nice and sturdy, and you can tell it's quality materials that were used.It's definitely not pricey for what it is!

Really solidly built fondue. Especially the support which feels safe with hot fat over a flame. Only disappointment is the outside is not glazed and is now stained by oil from the fondue which won't come off. A glazed outer finish would have prevented this.

I contacted the seller to ask if they could send the item out as soon as possible so that it would arrive in time for Christmas and they sent out that day. It arrived the next day which I was absolutely delighted with. The friend I gave it to her as a gift cannot stop talking about how much he loves it and how good the quality of the fondue is well

While joking around saying how fancy we'd be to have an actual fondue in our house, we looked on Amazon and found this one to have the best reviews.This is by far the best kitchen decision I've ever made!It makes stunning cheese fondues and amazing chocolate ones too.My next task is a Chinese hot pot in it!!I love it so much!

Product received presents good quality as would be expected by association with the Villeroy & Boch brand.Item bought as a present so not used by purchaser. We do own a similar product which works very well and have every expectation that this gift will be equally successful. Price was competitive too.

Very easy to use. Instructions clear. Quality good. Advisable to heat oil on stove first for quickness. Would be better if the forks had the colours on the whole handle instead of tiny rings around the top , would be easier to see especially if sharing with friends.
