Excellent slice and puncture protection
I never had a large problem with pinch flats which is one of the items this product claims to protect against so I'm not going to rate its performance on that. I do have issues of ripping & slicing holes through tires. I sliced a hole in my tire the size of half inch 13mm didn't even know it till I was home with the bike in the stand. So this product is really good with that. The bad the tire sort of rides with a very dead feeling is the best I can describe it. All bounce is removed and it took away some of the snappiness when pedaling and I felt like I had to put a little more effort in not much more just a bit. I didn't like the change in feeling on the front though I have much less tire issues on the front so I just use it in the rear now and I like it enough that I'll continue to use it and would buy it again for the rear if I needed to. Review was written with about 100 miles of use. Note The product does make the tire moderately hard to put on I always half to use a tire lever now for the last bit near the end before tire fully seats.

An imperfect solution
I used to run a set of NoMorFlats solid foam tubes on my commuter bike for several years. They were heavy, boogers to install, the foam absorbed energy making biking harder, and caused the breaking of spokes. I replaced every spoke on my rear wheel 3 times. But, I never had a flat. These foam inserts are better in several ways. They are quite light and there is still a pneumatic tube to spread impacts around the wheel, hopefully sparing spokes. They are also easier to install, taking only a few minutes. However, they also absorb energy in the same way, lowering the speed you can go for the same effort. They lowered my speed about 3 mph, similar to the NoMorFlats. It kind of feels like you are going uphill or into the wind all the time. This is fine if you are doing it for the exercise, more calories burned, and since you are going slower, you're less likely to have a wreck. But it does make biking a bit less fun. I'll probably feel better about them after my muscles acclimate and I haven't had to deal with any flats and I've lost a pound or two.

Awesome so far!
I wanted to try these on my gravel bike for a long bikepacking trip so I could rely on less flats and more miles. I am a commuter to and from my dayjob, also, so figured I'd try them out first with my work rides before taking them on the long haul.First, I've changed a LOT of the tires and tube on my gravel bike. Whilst these were a bit more difficult to seat the tire bead on the rim, I got one on and had to walk away until the next day to tackle the other tire and rim. The second attempt was a lot better.I'm not sure what people have done to experience the 'wobble' other reviewers have experienced... before I fully inflated my tires, I did roll the liner inside of the tire to 'align' it... and not once have I had an issue with a tire wobble. I love these so far! So, my best advice... take. your. time. installing.

Not for a 1.95 tire
Putting these into a 1.95x29 tire is like putting your 11.5 inch foot into a 9 shoe, good luck with that. They are wider than 1.95 and even after trimming 2 hands isn't going to get it done. 2.1 no problem at all, don't even need a tire lever. They are really meant for 2.1 to 2.2 tires, smaller or larger is not the ideal size, but at least you could easily mount them in a 2.5 tire. Price wise, way over priced unless you can get them from Amazon warehouse.

Tough to mount, kinda works
I first put these on my gravel bike 700c 32 gatorskins. Very tough to mount tire due to extra material. They have worked excellent, no flats. I just mounted on my Specialized Vado 4.0SL with 770c 37 Continental Top Contact Winter II. I experienced the wobble that others have commented on. I have had numerous flats. I am mixed if these are good or bad. They have been superb on the gravel bike, terrible on the e bike. I will try another tire after winter on the e bike to see if the problem is the tire itself. If only grading on my gravel bike experience, I would have to say these are the best. I will update in the future

Works like a charm
I was frustrated with flat tires when using tubes. Everyone recommended going tubeless. Bought new tires and did the conversion. Still got flat tires and the plugs blew out. The shop said the holes were too big. I then got these Tannus protectors. World like a charm. Now I can also use my non-tubeless tires. Now I can enjoy biking instead of fixing punctures.

Great puncture protection with a weight penalty.
Great puncture protection against all types of hazard. Minimal packaging but full instructions included. A SIZE SMALLER TUBE IS REQUIRED. If you don't read the instructions and try to refit the same tube it won't fit. Deceptive feeling of fully pumped up tyre when the liner is in. Check pressure with gauge pre ride. Weight, difficult fitting, rolling resistance and ride feel is equal to using a Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyre. Can be removed and fitted to new tyre. Assuring ride for commuting and touring, a bit heavy for speed freaks.

Just bad.
Truly awful, hideous to try and fit and I'm by no means new to swapping tubes or repairing punctures but I gave up after a few horrible hours. I'd rather spend 5 mins by the roadside than waste any more time with this.
