These are the answer to turf burns!! My son would end up every season with raw hips and legs from turf burns after these he didn’t have anymore. I wish I would have bought them sooner.

Wow, when my son asked for them, I did not believe they would help - they do. No more turf burns from slide tackles. Wash gentle, hang dry. Pricy but better than bacitracin.Update: hole after 8 uses gentle care, too bad.

This is not a good product and the description photos are inaccurate and misleading. There is not a 6mm padding on these shorts, only 0.5mm of tear resistant material. So they will provide no cushion, only a friction protective material that will keep your shorts from tearing, and hopefully the skin beneath the paneling.I also bought the proper size, and they're not cut too small. However, the waistband doesn't hold snug enough, and the anti-abrasion panels don't really stretch, so when I bent forward to pick something up, the waistband slides down in the back. Not something I'd ever want in an athletic under garment. Tying your shoes, bending down to stretch, constantly having to pull these up.Flawed advertising, flawed execution of what could be a practical and good design. I wish I could return them. I would not recommend them. Choose a better executed, likely much less expensive product.
