The pentel mechanical pencils are a quality product. I discovered they also available in bulk which provides an excellent price.

These simply work and are comfortable even after long periods of writing. The only thing is that their removable erasers are kinda expensive, but overall great.

I ordered these pencils because I like this brand. Pencils are well built and fell good in your hand . The only thing that I don't like these are not side clicker pencils. I didn't read the complete product description so that is on me. I'd recommend this product to anyone who likes top- clicker mechanicsl pencils.

They are perfect! I do not have to worry about the eraser for a long time. It is gray for school and work!

The Twist-Erase mechanical pencils are simple-looking mechanical pencils. The eraser twists out and it's a decent size both in terms of length and diameter. I love that you can retract the eraser when not in use so it won't get dirty or broken off when you put it back in your pencil case. They're very comfortable to hold and write with, and the lead they came with is perfect for producing clean, consistent lines. Definitely would purchase again.

Love these! They write dark and the lead is smooth and soft! And the rubber grip is comfy!

Given this pack contains two 0.9mm mechanical pencils which are superb writers, a spare rubber, a packet of spare leads and free P&P from the States to the UK ( how do they make a profit? ) for £3.89 from BIC Warehouse I wish I had bought more. Supermart USA is currently selling them at £3.98 so I have bought 2 more packs.BIC Warehouse also sell  Pentel Twist-Erase EXPRESS Automatic Pencil, 0.9 Millimeters, Black Barrel, Box of 12 (QE419A)  for £14.50 which is just under the custom charge to the UK. Although BIC state they will pay any customs incurred if informed it is best to purchase bulk items separately if £15 or more.I've built up quite a collection of mechanical pencils over the years ranging from the cheap such as this to the expensive such as the Parker Duofold and like 0.9 and 0.7 the best. 0.5 tend to break.Be aware Pentel also manufacture the  Pentel QE519A Twist-Erase III Mechanical Pencil, 0.90 mm, Black Barrel  which retails between £4 and £5. A very impressive writer I would keep this safe at home or on your person otherwise it will definitely walk! So to compare the two. The 419 is lighter, narrower in width and has plastic instead of a metal tip. Given you are talking about a difference in price of £3 this is for the school and office and if it walks not many tears will be shed. Also great as a giveaway.Other lead sizes are available.In terms of cost the 419 wins hands down against the  FABER-CASTELL Druckbleistifte GRIP MATIC 1375/1377 Grip Matic 0,7 transluzent blau - not great quality nor a very pleasant writing experience- and is comparable with the  Faber-Castell Grip 1347 0.7mm Mechanical Pencil - Black , a pencil I still use and love.Highly recommended. This "Express" model is cheaper than the original, but the eraser tends to slowly advance as you write. which means that you have to stop and retract the eraser. The original model (non "Express") does not have that fault and has a more substantial feel - but is twice the cost. Use for Crosswords & Sudoku.
