Killing Eve: Die for Me

Have read all the books, great fun.

Certainly an interesting ending on the Villanelle trilogy. The books definitely put a different spin on the story, when compared to the TV series.

Good plot with lots of twists and turns. But it was more than just a clever plot. Luke Jennings did a superb job of creating empathetic, well-developed characters. Not a small feat, considering the premise of the book.

Top notch entertainment, unexpectedly funny, engaging characters, a wonderful cast that brought out the best in each other.Fashion plate Villanelle makes assassination a work of art, and thoroughly enjoys her business. Her interplay with her ‘handlers’ is a hoot, and poor frazzled Eve does her best to bring Villanelle to justice, an obsession, at least until they fall in love!

The writing is definitely a 5 star; he writes well! The plot is a bit "fantastic," with Villanelle almost a James Bond type of character - that gets a bit tedious; the plot itself seems a bit far fetched. This warrants only 3 stars and places this novel into a silly "caricature" category.It is worth reading, especially if you have read the first two books, but more like a James Bond novel than a serious intrigue/espionage thriller.

Unlike the tv series the original writing creates two complex intriguing characters and stays true to their personality profiles. Great story telling.

If you’re a fan of the series? Enjoyable. Contrived but then all good stories are. The love story always felt forced to me. Just like all the other love stories. A nice accompaniment to the series and frankly a story that’s interesting enough to keep me reading to the end.

After seeing the final episode of Killing Eve, I decided to order the third book (I had already read the other two but I had been waiting in case the book spoiled the show). It didn't and I'm so happy. The book left me fairly satisfied with the ending and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Simplesmente AMO esse livro por ser o suquinho de fanfiction que eu queria para as personagens, mas só por isso. É inovador e revolucionário? Não, mas pra quem quer ser consolada pelo final da série, é altamente recomendado HAHAHA. Como nem tudo são flores, as personagens dos livros são especialmente diferentes das da série e, na minha humilde opinião, aqui é feito o maior fanservice e a história é apressada pra caramba. Me agradou por ser o que EU queria em termos de romance, mas, no geral, sequer faz muito sentido o plot… De qualquer forma, recomendo que leiam…

Spannend bis zum Schluß. Das Buch hat das Happy End, das der Verfilmung nicht gegönnt wurde. Das Buch hat mich wieder entspannt gemacht.

Well written escapist action novel. Jennings keeps you intrigued. This is the third in the series and I am hooked.
