Great film beautiful landscapes thrilling story.

It could be so incredible much better, if they did show more about the ancient Chinese culture and art works... Now was it mostly 9 hours about many uninteresting conflicts, with the top mongol's and some with the head of the chinese... But the splendid settings, the (for me unknown) actors, the blind fighter, the impressive war machines at the end (which they did show very little of) plus some very short half erotic scenes, made it anyhow almost ok... So I will maybe buy the second series, hoping desperately for some improvements!

This would not play on either of my two blu ray players. But did play on my computer. Kept getting security violation messages on my Dune player. It's a european Blu-ray Disc so should play I have now ordered a new Sony player hopefully it will play on that.

Why make all the mongolians and chinese characters speak ENGLISH? Why not subtitle it in english and make the characters speak in Mongolian and Chinese language, it would definitely be more amazing!! The background setting is stunning, breathtaking, and colors of day and night light were done superbly, however, it is jarring to hear Mongolians and Chinese speak English in their own native language accent. It is like you discovered that Mozart was actually a Chinese in disguise???
