A good wide pattern with a heavy enough spray that the breeze doesn’t blow it around. It keeps you moving quickly as it goes through about a gallon every couple of minutes.

Got this on sale, So I had another tip for my backpack sprayer. Damn this is awesome. I already had bought another 2 more expensive and this worked the best for my setup. I'm using a Milwaukee sprayer (20s) that puts 0.5 GPM. This allows the sprayer to flow a lot faster. It's a wide spray of around 180 degrees with heavy droplets and no fine mist. Great for macro fertilizer.

Nozzle fits perfectly in this model.Good price.

Spray pattern is spot on and the droplets are big enough that wind has little effect when spraying.

The tip was easy to install and use.

Bought a Petra tools hd4000 and it came with the standard style tips one being a fan tip. But the fan tip sprays a fine mist which it does a great job at, however I needed something to lay a down larger droplets while still being a wide spray. This is cost effective and does the job amazingly. The spray pattern is even, I'd say about 4-6 ft wide spray depending where you hold it. Happy with the nozzle, I'd recommend it and I'll probably buy another for a spare at some point.
