It is not stable without anything in the pan
I liked the pan as it is sleek but what I don't like is that you have to have something in the pan for it to sit level otherwise it falls over.

Great value! Not the Mauviel saucier with a new gloss. However it is extremely useful and a one quart saucier is a size you will reach for before you grab the 3 or 5qt pan. Great addition!

rounded edges, brushed steel surface, cool handle
I got this to make sauces and gravy. It has a nice rounded bottom, which I prefer in my saucier pan. The interior surface is not as smooth as my all-clad, but that hasn't caused any issues, yet. I find the handle to be cool and comfortable. My only warning is that this has a very small diameter bottom. If you don't have small burners on your stovetop, this might not be very efficient.

useful for your non induction pots and pans.
when i want to keep something warm, think bowl, think ceramic, whip out one of these things, put it on your induction burner and good to go. i have two,small and large. both work as they are supposed to. i put a silicon cover over the burner first to eliminate scratching.

Not balance when sitting on counter
This saucier has a heavy hand that causes the pan to tip over when it's sitting on the counter. No tipping with contents in the pan but it's disconcerting.

This brand was recommended to me by a professional chef and I have several pieces and sizes. I am very happy with the quality and especially the price.

This is a wonderful saucier. I only wish that I could find other sizes from the same company.
